One of the best genuine French hotels in Lyon. Great location, service and vibe.

Lobby very stylish and cozy, but room extremely small with a view to the oppposite wall. Zero natural light in the room.

the staff is wonderful and the location is perfect.
the primary reason for the rating is the AC - it was almost not working - had to be moved 3 times and even then had only marginally working AC - they are also redoing the hallways and stairwells - so much construction.

Very good but no telephone in the room and phone by the elevator did not work. Told later phone was replaced but was not. Safety issue if we would have had an emergency. Also safe box in room was not bolted in. Left our passports at front desk and when we returned back after change of shift the new person who was nice didn’t know how to get them and finally was able to reach the last person and got them but anxious about same as we had an early train and we became anxious knowing if we could get them by morning.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff.
Rooms are looking a bit worn and tired, especially for the price, and the selection of TV channels in English was poor. The onsite bar and restaurant is good. The location is excellent, close to metro and bus options, as well as shopping and restaurants.
If you are not going to spend much time in your room, this is an ideal place to stay in Lyon.

You can't ask for a better location in Lyon. It is right in the heart of the city, easy walking distance to everything.
The staff and hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Terrific breakfast in the morning.
The facilities themselves have a fun, old-hotel feeling to them, and I enjoyed how it didn't feel like a chain hotel.
Highly recommend a stay!

Absolutely phenomenal staff.
Beautifully updated rooms but still felt classic.
We had the base level room but it was still fairly spacious for European standards.
Bathroom was excellent.

Don’t know the name of the young woman at the reception desk the weekend evenings of 4/27-28 but she is treasure for the hotel. May she be rewarded greatly.

Excellent location right in the heart of Lyon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was charming, spacious and warm. Lovely restaurant and bar downstairs. I had a great stay and will definitely be back. Thank you!!

The corridors are in need of sprucing up but the accommodation overall was very good, service too. Breakfast is a bit of a squeeze and disorganised!!

The room door blocked no sound and i was next to the laundry room and staircase, meaning late nights and early mornings for me. I was on the lowesr floor meaning every flush in the nighr came through my room.
Other than the noise, i couldn't fault it. Id willingly come back

There was a lamp hanging in our room with a frayed cord which we disconnected do that we didn’t trip over it in the dark.
Getting in and out of the shower was tricky as the platform we had to step on to get in was very slippery.

this is an old and well place hotel but you need to know your way arround as no concierge. rooms are tiny and bathroom old. it is more an 3 star than 4 star hotel.
staff is pleasant but don't ask them to book a restaurant as they forgot to do it for us and i had to imporovise.

Lovely hotel in a central location for exploring Lyon. Wish there was a fridge in the room with kettle/tea facilities and some lotion in the bathroom. The staff were lovely and the room and bed were very comfortable. Perfect for a short stay in the city.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was always attentive. Hotel had sent me an email before I arrived asking preferences for my stay and it was as if they didn’t read my answers. All issues were addressed, but I had been impressed with the effort to streamline and 3cpedite my choices.

Staff were sharp, quite attentive and helpful, plus very fluent in English. Lobby and dining area are quite hospitable and well decorated in a charming mostly modern motif. Location is superb in Central Lyon. Parking is not available on site but garage parking is close by even though the maze of one way streets can be frustrating to get there. Bed was very comfortable and room was remarkably quiet. Would likely re-book there for a future trip,

Everything great at this Hotel but the service. Not the typical friendliness that makes hotel stays so nice. More like an arrogant gen z girls dorm that want to make very clear that being overly friendly is especially to men is something from last century.

Worst hotel in years. Non working airco, windows not opening, temperature to high, old sanitair. No fridge or coffee machine in the rooms. Superior rooms are therefore not more than 2 stars. Choose your battles wise and don’t go here.
The breakfast room is non excistent. You’re placed in the bar. For an absurd amount of money.

We stayed at this charming boutique hotel for two nights. The room (625) was beautiful, newly renovated with excellent attention to detail. All staff went above and beyond with professionalism and friendliness. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel in a great location, short walk to wonderful restaurants and the beautiful old town.

Was disappointed with the room, towels(hard and damp), size of shower, no telephone in the room. The first floor was very nice but the third floor smelled all the way to the room and wasn’t any 4 star like room I’ve ever seen.
