For a local guest house, it is amazing. it's close enough but far enough away from town, the beaches, and anything you want to do. if you are independent and want to get your own place. it's amazing. Especially if you are an ex-pat returning to Antigua. The place is clean, rooms are spacious. they have large water reserves and hot water. They have cable and free wifi, and lots of outlets for tech (bring your own power converter). for the price, it cant be beaten. Even when compared to larger resorts, you would have trouble finding all they provide. especially hen it comes to convenience and location.

Like the property . It’s clean and very peaceful

My room was clean, but in borderline condition. I appreciated that there was bottled water in the fridge! It is not safe to drink the tap water in Antigua (made me sick earlier in my trip). The description said it was a 15 minute walk to the main part of town & restaurants. I would say it was more like a 25-30 minute walk, & a rather difficult walk. There are no consistent paths or sidewalks, It did not feel very safe; I would certainly not do it after dark! I could hear someone talking, quite clearly, from another room, and the neighbors were loud into the night. Generally felt it was substandard.

Fair estimate that about half the ants in Antigua reside at this hotel. If you love ants, you'll love this hotel. And as a souvenir just think you'll be bringing back tons of ants for you to enjoy whether back home or wherever you go from here. Thank you Connie.

The apartment

It is good value, perfect for self catering for a short or long stay. Supermarkets and other shops are within walking distance. It feels safe and the staff are friendly and helpful. My one suggestion would be to put thicker curtains in the bedroom to help keep out the bright exterior lights at night.

We had an excellent time at Connie’s, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay there again next time we visit! Well done guys

Great Value for what it is, A bit noisey and check in was a bit strange.

The check in was eazy. When I walked into the room the first thing i noticed was all the windows were opened. The shower was wet as if someone had just used it and hair was on the floor .

It was close enough to restaurants and the room was quiet. The only problems I had was with getting onto the Wi-Fi as the incorrect password was provided and I prefer to sleep in rooms with TVs. The environment was well kept and the little interaction I had with staff was acceptable.

There was no Wifi in the room

The area is quiet and not far from the city centre.

Truly a great place to stay with an affordable price.

Was perfect for an unplanned inexpensive overnight stop.

The manager, Shirmique, was professional, pleasant, and extremely helpful. She provided us with assistance in renting a car for our stay, and gave us directions as we tried to get around. She was very accessible, and responded to messages in a timely manner. The room was tidy, and we appreciated the kitchenette with cooking facilities, refrigerator, and microwave, as well as utensils, as this gave us an opportunity to prepare our own meals. Perhaps my only complaints would be that we would have appreciated a change of towels, without needed to specifically ask for it. But a notice in the room referred to their desire to be eco-friendly., and that the bed, though comfortable, was really tiny, especially for my husband whose is over 6ft tall. However, we felt safe while we were at the hotel, and we were comfortable to move about freely in the community. It was a good experience overall.

It is very nice and clean place close to everything: St.Jones, beaches, stores. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Good property. A bit away from downtown but safe.

Great for the budget-conscious and those who want to cook and control what they eat. However, for longer stays you def need to request more supplies like toilet paper and fresh towels. Housekeeping is good but doesn't come daily.

It was very noisy all night long; sleep was impossible. Beds were uncomfortable. Shower was luke warm at best.

Property is very clean. Staff is very polite and tend to your every needs.

It wasn't pleasant. I know it's not a five or four stars Hotel. But I believe they can do better especially with the drains they smell.

Close to town area!!!! A but it does get a bit noisy at nights

The room was comfortable, mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. Close to a small supermarket and kfc is just a 3 minute walk (depend on your pace)

everything was great though i checked in late and the reception area was closed there was a not waiting for me on the door with information on my room everything was great and well put together will definitely stay there again

Arrived on from Massachusetts on the 5.29.21, was surprised to see everything was near by, supermarket next door , restaurant a stone throw away, laundry services at the property, car rentals were available at the property, I declined the car rental because I started drinking with the locals , can’t drink and drive you understand what I mean, anyway mango trees at every corner, local and international beers at every corner, my wife and I had a great time, I felt at home, and that’s the best feeling ever , can’t wait to go stay at Connie’s again, one thing for sure I will not drink that much again, left with a major hangover, all in all myself and my wife had no regrets, well we did regret one thing, we left too soon ...

Good value, clean, helpful staff.

The staff at front desk and cleaning people were very approachable, helpful and friendly/courteous

Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They arranged taxis for us, recommended places to eat, and even let us leave a lot of luggage after we checked out so we could continue to explore the city before our evening flight. Our room was small but just right for our needs. There is an enthusiastic local rooster nearby, and for us, that added some ambience to the whole experience of being there. We were able to walk to the main center of St John's as well as nearby ATMs and supermarkets. And the food at the nearby ToyToy was excellent.
