Well located by the beach,AC worked well, bed was reasonably comfortable but no hot water. Breakfast was very simple and outdoor space needs some care.

I have nothing bad to say about the facilities however during my stay I lost my phone not in the hotel but around it's vicinity and I had to cut short my stay Due to my inconvenience

Have been coming since 2004. The pillows are way better. Very friendly and laid back. The beach and water are cleaner than i have ever seen. This is a local beach. More locals than tourists. Love this place.

The hotel staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was very fresh. It's certainly walkable on the beach side, but on the busy street side watch out for motorcycles! The waters are gorgeous. The deluxe beach room's view was limited, but overall a good stay!

Nice place to stay, gated private courtyard leads right to the beach, and very helpful staff to make your stay great!

The staff are very helpful and professional. Helping and providing good service to guests is their priority. Zapata may not be a five starts hotel but it has nothing to envy of a five star hotel. In short, I have been more than satisfied both times I have gone.

The Hotel was very cute just as seen on pictures, the staff is super friendly the hotel is very clean, it’s right on the beach which is great!! The area is safe for tourists and is walkable there’s a lot of shops and restaurants/bars. Also there’s a massage lady named Cleotilde she’s AMAZING!! Make sure you check out 10/10. Only thing I would say is the hotel needs a few updates and more comfortable beds. Overall very good stay! I would definitely come back.

The staff was very friendly and acted quickly whenever I had any questions or needed help. They kept the property clean and tidy. The beach there was beautiful and they also kept that clean. I would recommend tourists to keep Hotel Zapata in mind if they want a beach vacation on a budget. Great value and I would definitely stay there again!

I really like the service and places like relax area, dining room and they have hoy water jaja! Thanks about all. At the first day I left at 7am and come back at 11am (the breakfast is between 8:30/10:00am) and they saved me breakfast because I told them I wasn't going to arrive on time. Thanks!

This nice small clean hotel had a smooth check-in and check-out. Staff was very friendly and welcoming especially Cesar the bartender who was always in a good spirit and I loved that the beach was right out back. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be returning.

Hotel location & premises are excellent. I stayed outside in room with view & 2nd floor, problem was the TV didn´t work the 3 days I was there, there was no Internet inside the room and had noise on room below, wooden floor, every night as of 3 am. My experience was terrible, and I am writing this to avoid anyone experiencing the same again. Recommend to advice guests on noise restrictions and revise all equipment before issuing any room.

The staff at Zapata is amazing, day and night, the rooms are cleaned daily, breakfast is not special but fresh everyday. The only issue I had was with mosquitoes, so get your spray because they are not spraying, and it is mostly under the table at breakfast, so wear long pants for breakfast
