Fantastic boutique hotel just outside the Center Ring Road. Convenient to all the city center amenities, as well as public transportation options. Staff are kind and helpful, and were patient with my limited German language skills. Breakfast buffet is well stocked. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and good sized. Get a balcony if one is available.

We can’t to Leipzig for one night as a side trip from the Berlin marathon. Book Hotel is a short walk from the old town and was well positioned for transport. The front desk is unmanned from 8pm which was a bit tight as our train was delayed but I kept in touch with then to let them know our progress and they were going to make alternative arrangements with the night porter if we hadn’t made it. We arrived at 8pm and the reception staff were really friendly and gave us recommendations on places to eat in the old town. The room was really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

All is fine except there is no functional WiFi on the property and since, my trip is a business one I had no choice but to purchase extra roaming time. This is all unacceptable in this day and age. It was also very difficult let alone expensive to get the roaming extension set up.
The second issue in this hotel is lack of dark curtains, I wake up with the first sunbeam and I feel exhausted.

Excellent place to stay in Leipzig, nice ambience. Centrally located, easy walking distance to sights. Breakfast buffet was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Please note - no air conditioning, just a fan in room. If you were staying in the summer or a heat wave, rooms would be very hot.
Overall, a great place to stay!

A very nice small hotel in a quite street, a five minute walk to the Gewandhaus, then minutes from the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Ample breakfast. Would be happy to stay here again.

What a lovely hotel this was. The staff were super nice, even allowing us to check in much earlier than advertised. We don't speak a word of German, but the lady on the desk was very polite and helpful. The room itself was spacious and clean, while the showers and bathroom were very nice. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel which was walking distance to all the spots we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend anyone stay here.

Stayed one night and the hotel was really good. The "book" theme was well done and my 5 year old daughter really enjoyed it. The hotel was about a 5-10 minute walk from a main shopping area with lots of food choices. Did not get the breakfast, but it looked like a normal German hotel breakfast with some meats and cheeses and pastries.

A very nice reasonably priced hotel in Leipzig city centre. It was very noisy due to construction work being carried out on the neighbouring property, so if you want to sleep in you should probably check beforehand. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay with a good breakfast.

A delightful hotel close to the central district and public transportation, Book Hotel Leipzig is, well, book themed. Art on the exterior, in rooms, and in public areas feature books prominently, to charming effect.
Our suite featured a good sized bedroom with a large, comfortable bed, a nice kitchenette space, comfortable sitting area with a fold-out couch, and a large balcony space. The bathroom had a shower over tub, and very nice bath products.
A German style breakfast buffet (think breads, cold cuts and cheeses, but also cereals and small pastries) hosted in a well-appointed breakfast room was included.
Some fluency in German will be helpful for visitors, and as with most hotels, did not have air conditioning.

This hotel is a real find! Very comfortable in every way. Excellent staff, always willing to help, and very well informed about their city. A real pleasure. We mostly walked everywhere.

Of all I must say in- and ouside of the hotel it is very quiet. The modern automatic-close makes it possible, to shut the doors with no loud noice. The hotel is located in a silence area of Leipzig; but only some steps and you are middle in the city. The furniture is brand new and of all it must told the oversize of the television. If you go to Leipzig there is only one address: The BOOK HOTEL.

With a female friend I spent four nights here. We were surprised to find how very close it is to the main sights e.g. the Opera House is less than 5 minutes walk, the Mendelssohn House just 1 minute.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel is clean, light, modern. The breakfasts were superb with a wide choice. Our twin-bedded room and shower room were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. If you like reading - in German - the hotel is full of books! It was a nice surprise to find complimentary coffee available all day in the foyer, occasionally with pastries too. There are building sites nearby which meant early morning noise and we also had some noise from people on the street late at night, but may have just been unlucky as it is basically a quiet location. At no time did we feel vulnerable in Leipzig.

Walking distance to center of town, quiet, clean and very friendly staff. I had my birthday there and was given a box of very good chocolates. Helpful with any questions and requests.
