Charming old world hotel with great view of the city.

Hotel located on a Main Street in convent location to shopping and restaurants. The beach is behind the hotel mostly used by locals. The rooms are small and the air conditioner is pre set to 19F. Internet is not working for the US travelers and TV has one Chanel in English. Most guests are from Italy. The spa treatments are extra and you need to ask at the front desk. Food was average not much in vegetables .Good baked tarts. Would look for another hotel that offers more modern conveniences.

Floridiana Terme is ideally located between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte, along one of the main street with many shopping and dining options, and close to the sea. While not having a direct sea access (although there is a pathway that gets there in less than 5 minutes), it more than makes up for it with its large pool surrounded by trees, and the rooms with sea views are wonderful. The staff is lovely and breakfast a definite plus as their pastry chef whip up delicious options.

Great location, awesome views (from some rooms) and nice spa. Also good buffet breakfast.

4 nights in Ischia. Average class peaceful hotel. Nice seaview room. Small pool where most of the beds were booked for the whole dai without any users.

Here's my story. I'm a travel writer. I stayed at two luxury termes before Floridiana, then I couldn't leave beautiful Ischia so I booked this hotel based on reviews, locations and pics. A total winner. They upgraded me to a duplex suite, the grounds are very pretty, the variety of pools is excellent, and it's close to cafes and the lovely, swimmable beach. It will be my go-to in Ischia from now on.

My goal, at the end of a long Italy trip, was to decompress, be healthy, and be treated kindly in a beautiful place. Hotel Floridiana delivered in every respect. I extended my stay twice. The sweet staff upgraded me to a duplex suite, the main pool and the garden pool circuit were fabulous, and breakfast was lovely. More: it's a block from a low-key beach (at least in October) with crystal clear water, perfect for swimming, and the hotel sits on a charming street of pastry shops. The landscaping in the neighborhood and on the hotel grounds is lush and beautiful. Though they were closing for the season, the hotel felt fully staffed and very accommodating. I stayed three nights and could have stayed a few weeks. It's also easily accessible to/from the ferry. You can even walk to it (15 mins).

It was a wonderful stay in Floridiana, with 3 basins, free parking, very good service. We even received the late check -out, which was very nice because our ferry departed at 16.45 to Naples. The dinner was very tasty! The location is in the center of pedestrian zone, very close to the sea coast.

Everything was fine. The rooms are big, the pool well managed and the breakfast was Exellent. The hotel is located near restaurants and boutiques. 😊

Nice room. Three different thermal pools and right in the heart of shopping and restaurants. Relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was clean and well prepared.

Hotel is in a perfect location, not far from the ferry port and within easy walking distance for the beach and numerous bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Hotel offers great facilities including the three thermal pools, hydro shower, indoor hydro pool, beauty treatments (not used) and gym (not used). Wonderful staff, very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

We just returned from a lovely stay in Ischia and had an enjoyable time staying at Floridiana Therme. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-15 minute walk from Ischia Port and near shops and restaurants, but in an ideal spot set back from the main street and avoiding street noise. The staff was very helpful and spoke enough English to converse with us. Good continental breakfast on terrace. The common areas are nice and the 3 pools lovely including a smaller pool with spa-like amenities. However, pool towels are 8E/person to use during your stay, which isn't advertised and shocked us at checkout. We also paid for towels at Negombo and if we had known we had to pay a rental at the hotel would have just bought them. The rooms are freshly painted and clean, but the furniture is a bit worn. The bed was hard and could use an updated mattress. The TV was small and we didn't use it. The closets were nice and roomy. The AC worked great. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. On the other hand, the bathroom wasn't great and the shower minuscule. I'm not a large person at 5'4/120lb and barely fit; my 6'1 husband really struggled. Other small negatives were that the wifi was really outdated (had to login everytime unlocked phone) and very slow--usually I don't care on vacation but needed to look up restaurants etc; also, there was a bit of hall noise and they woke us up around 9:30 to clean. Otherwise great stay! Tip: ask for restaurant recs-they do a great job!

Staff were wonderful. Pool was the best Ive ever used. Plenty of sunbeds available but not crowded. The room was of a good size with terrace. The hotel is near to restaurants, the castle, the harbour. Fantastic place to go to get rid of stress without going to the middle of nowhere.
