The Inn is a wonderful place - very nice atmosphere, and excellent attentive service. What I liked best is that it was peaceful. I went for a peaceful get-away - and I especially loved the balmy air, the gentle breezes, the gardens, and the birds. Heard and saw so many wonderful birds!
And you can meander around the surrounding lanes, and end up down by the water. All so nice!

We had an amazing stay. Our room was clean, the staff was very pleasant, the food at the restaurant was affordable and delicious. The outside scene with different fire pits and lights was very romantic. Definitely plan on coming back.

The air conditioning is old and did not work IN FOUR ROOMS THAT WE stayed in (not by our choice, but the hotel choice to waste time and manpower cleaning rooms when we could stay in the same rooms)
Toilet would not flush. Dining is very limited (a market for breakfast and just a dinner restaurant) almost no transportation.

The hotel, restaurant, cleanliness and views were magnificent. The breakfast at The Market was average. The only downside was I was placed in an ADA room so I had to shower in an open shower stall. I was freezing and the bathroom floor was soaked. I had to use towels to dry the floor. The other issue was the mattress. It had a permanent groove. For the price of the room, I was highly disappointed.

We were upgraded to a nicer room because of an issue in the room we paid for. It was handled before we even got there. We also received free drink coupons as we were there celebrating our anniversary. The whole campus was beautiful and wonderfully planned out. We loved it completely.

The physical plant was well done, but the staff was curt and unhelpful. Upon check in, O was simply asked “did you fill out paper work?” No greeting. We had gone to the Inn to go fishing. When we asked several time if we could check out at 1 pm as our fishing trip was supposed to end at noon, we could not get an answer after asking multiple people. It was obvious the place was no where close to full. Staff unprepared to make any decisions.

Wonderful stay! My husband and I truly enjoyed the campus …. the accommodations, Knoxies Restaurant, the Market and the fabulous staff!! Our room had a lovely view of the Bay Bridge and Chesapeake Bay.
