Great hotel stay, great food!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Especially the lady in reception and the bar manager. Very good quality mattress. A dream to sleep in. Lovely furnished room. Beautiful view of countryside. Food was lovely. Couldn't fault anything. Well done the Swan Teams

Great room and v helpful staff. Was tricky walk from town to White Swan. Taxi service ordered from pub on arrival were not good. Castle Cars.

Staff good friendly Breakfast excellent lots of choice

The staff where all extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom.was spacious and comfortable unfortunately we had absolutely no view the hotel was not full so this was a little disappointing. The breakfast was good and both our evening meals where outstanding. The hotel area was a little tired and could do with a little freshen up.

Wonderful stay… friendly and welcoming staff, great pub/restaurant, room was comfortable and quiet. Loved the walk from the inn to town alongside farms and through the woods! And Arundel is a lovely place to explore 😊

Good staff clean well equipped only a small criticism was the rose wine was not a great standard also had an aperol spritz which was very weak. Other than that everything else was excellent

Always made welcome . Staff extremely pleasant & helpful and the food is very very good. Surroundings clean & comfortable and lovely garden areas to sit out & relax. We have a friends annual meet up and plan to continue to rebook the white swan after several successful vists. So good i booked my daughter & son in law a weekend as a christmas present....

I cannot praise The White Swan staff enough. Every aspect of my stay was flawless. Everyone was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was incredible. The hotel is conveniently located 1.2 miles from Arundel city center, so walking to town is a great option. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice, relaxing stay in an excellent hotel.

Overall all was good beds a bit too soft for my liking also food in restaurants a bit pricey

Lovely character-filled Inn. Great staff, especially Lewis and Joshua. Good food. Very hospitable. Close to country walking trails, town, and attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Lovely overnight stay with country view. Room spacious and comfortable. Pub food was good. Not walkable into Arundel in the evening but would be fine in daylight.

Rooms great. Staff great. Food and service great. Just a bit out of town. Great if you have a car, otherwise taxis needed. Castle cars were great though.

Rooms are lovely but a little tired with mould on the back of the curtains. Breakfast was lovely and the service and knowledge of the bar staff was amazing.

I had a Saturday night stay with my son in March. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We ate in the pub and We both agreed that the food was fantastic. Breakfast the following morning was also really good with a good choice of both hot and cold food. I will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Main issue was poor quality wifi with no alternative as mobile coverage at the hotel is also patchy.

A great pub/hotel, the beds are comfy, good size room, staff friendly and food was excellent. I have stayed many time and have always been more than satisfied.

Staff and food excellent No problems what so ever

This is an average hotel. The room was ok and it was relatively clean (couple of cobwebs but nothing major). The main issue with this stay was 2 things The first was the noise coming from the kitchen/cellar directly next to my room. It was constant humming sound that kept me up for most of the first night. I tried to go to reception but the door leading back through to the bar was locked. The next day I told someone about the issue and they promised to turn all the fridges and fans off next to my room. They did this for the next night and all was ok. The following night though i woke up at 2-30am to the same noise and couldnt get back to sleep. The noise reverberates against the wall and is like a constant humming for 10 minutes and then stops for 2 minutes before starting again. They were clearly aware of this issue but still put paying guests in this room! The second issue is the shower. It is about as powerful as a small cat lapping the suds from you whilst you desperately try and get the soap out of your hair. The actual shower head is straight from the dawn of time so should be replaced. The food in the bar area was ok although a little pricey so I went to the beefeater down the road which was amazing food at much better prices. Overall I would say there are definitely better hotels in the area for you to stay at, ones where you can actually get a good nights sleep and a decent shower in the morning - pretty much the main two things you want from a hotel room.

Great one night stay

Nice pub hotel. Comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff. Food was also excellent, very good quality and recommended. Also couple of nice woodland walks from this location.
