Absolutely loved my stay at Calma. The staff was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and the room was stunning with lots of little extras. Will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful villa-style hotel uphill from the crazier high-traffic areas in Ubud. Breakfasts were about the best I've had at a Bali hotel. Don't miss the included tea-time every afternoon, loved the banana pancakes!

Perfect for long or short stay conveniently located , minutes away from Ubud center, staff very attentive to your needs, example , i have a problem with gluten, they made sure that i had my gluten free toasts evey morning at breakfast. Details like this makes the difference .. i loved my 16 nights stay there and will go back if i have the chance .

Service was great, reception did everything to Support our stay (like organise Driver for day Tour etc.). Breakfast also very good.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, we were so disappointed. The air conditioning made a lot of noise and the fridge was flooded inside.. The “outdoor” shower, is really just a regular indoor shower with a small hole in the wall, to a view of your own entrance. However the hole in the wall, resulted in A LOT of mosquitoes, ants, spiders, miscellaneous bugs and even a huge cockroach coming inside of our bathroom. The door to the bathroom couldn’t close properly, so except those animals inside your bedroom. Bathroom had dirty bathroom tiles, dead ants and spiders on the walls and floor. The walkway between the different rooms were absolutely beautiful, but it also felt a bit claustrophobic at times, as everything was so closely packed. What you don’t really realise in the pictures, is that the pool and restaurant are right up against each other, and most of the decorations and accessories aren’t there in real life. There are a lot of new plants covering the view from the pool area, and construction work every day close by. Wifi didn’t work for half of our stay and it really killed our New Year Eve’s plans of ordering food in and having a cozy night with champagne in the room with music and a movie. Friendly staff and overall a fine room. However it is far from a 4 star experience, we have lived in similar rooms for a quarter of the price. Very disappointing overall, can find better places for much cheaper.

The staffs were very friendly and kind and the food of hotel (breakfast and dinner) was great as well. My family really enjoyed it. One weak point was a lot of mosquitos... Thanks.

Had a very nice stay at Calma its a private little oasis the view at the pool is stunning however the pool is small. Food is pretty good and would recommend the rooms upstairs for more light and space. Overall, a lovely stay with polite staff.

We stayed for 6 nights and the place exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was exactly like in the pictures. Hotel area especially the pool was beautiful and clean. Service was excellent. The hotel has a transportation service to the center three times a day and it worked well. However, it is good to notice that even though it is rather close to the Ubud center, the distance is not walkable due to road being so small and filled with traffic. In addition, wi-fi was not very good, particularly in our room and my iphone couldn't be connected to the internet. Overall, we had a great experience in this beautiful and calm hotel and we highly recommend it to others.

Amazing tropical gardens and horizon pool overlooking rice fields. Very friendly staff. Only down fall being the amount of times the shuttle went into Ubud town (three times a day there and three time options to return) these didn’t match up well so we usually took the shuttle into town and caught a taxi back.

Peaceful oasis, with meticulously kept gardens. The lovely, gracious staff added even more joy to the experience!

An absolutely stunning property....even better than the photos! We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were so beautifully decorated that I want to do something similar with my house now!! The beds were comfortable and I loved the little kitchenettes that we had. The staff were all so wonderful and the food was amazing!! Nothing beats enjoying a delicious tea or coffee out on by that beautiful pool. And the breakfast choices? Way better than typical breakfasts that come with the cost of the room. My only complaints would be that the showers in both rooms did not stay hot very long and the "Natural Facial" is way overpriced. My mother got the other facial (I cannot recall the name now but it was a brand-named product) and she loved it. Her actual treatment was longer and had more steps than mine and it is the same price. I would absolutely stay at Calma Ubud again!

Also couldn't find a phone in the room to connect with the front office. Really slow hairdryer & no iron in the room.

This is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay, just above the hub-bub of Ubud. Make sure to book a driver for the day (through the hotel) to see amazing sites, like the holy water temple and elephant cave

Loved everything about this hotel: the location, the property, the room, decor, breakfast, pool and the view...will definitely come again and recommend to others! The only not so great thing was the speed of the WiFi (1Mbps).

Quiet, peaceful hotel, with a great pool and surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The staff were all lovely, and the food is very good.

I will definitely go back. Place was magical and the staff incredible. Dont forget to do the aromatherapy bath at the spa..... so worth it.
