Amazing stay

Kind and friendly staff at check in and check out. Room was lovely and clean and bed was mega comfy. Bathroom clean and shower was fab!

The food was really terrible. It was probably the worst plane food you could have. I would stay here again but I would avoid the food. The front elevator room was also dirt and had me worried for a second but once I got to the lobby and my room those worries went away.

Had booked CitizenM Shoreditch after a wonderful stay in CitizenM Copenhagen. Tried to check in electronically at front desk but the system didn’t work. Checked in with staff who said the room we had booked was unavailable and could we stay in an accessible room instead. This room was not as nice as the room we had booked, the bathroom in particular was nothing like advertised. We asked to move and were refused this request but were told that we would be called the following day to see if any rooms available then. The call wasn’t placed until 4.30pm at which stage there was no point in changing. Also three lifts in the building and only one working and these frequently took ages to arrive.

This is my 4th time to stay in citizen M in London. This is my first time to stay in Shoreditch one. staffs are friendly and very helpful Unfortunately, the lovely toy in the bedroom is a bit dirty and you can see the show gel bottle a bit dirty, hope they can improve.

Booked this hotel bc it was cheaper compared to others last minute, ended up being my favorite part/area of my London trip! Very friendly, very clean, overall very nice.

So pleasantly surprised with how AMAZING this hotel was! Not “for the price” - it was just plain great! Service was EXCELLENT - stumbled off an overnight trans-Atlantic flight at 6:30 am & got to the hotel by 9 am where they actually had a room ready for us to fall into bed! Room was spacious, comfortable, updated; loved the iPad controls & special touches. Breakfast was superb & the 24 hr staff/service/snacks were great. Location to buses & tube was so convenient. Won’t stay anywhere else from now on.

We had a wonderful stay at Citizen My. The staff was kind, the hotel and room were clean and well managed, and check-in was easy. Will visit again.

Our first time staying at a Citizen M hotel and we had no idea what to expect…it was great!! Loved the room layout and the iPad control was a fun addition but it also made everything, like the aircon, really easy to control. I didn’t have breakfast but my partner did and he said there was a good selection. Everyone was so helpful - shout out to Patience who was really kind and remembered we were visiting for a show which she asked us about the next day!

The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was well laid out and modern. Big bed, nice view of Shoreditch. The check in and out process was smooth, they held my luggage after I checked out so I could go shopping. Overall great expression will definitely stay at Citizen M hotels in other cities based off of this experience

Not as good as other Citizen M properties. Having reception on first floor is a poor layout. Long wait for lifts throughout (1 out of service, one with i redibmy slow doors) and style over substance spiral stair case awkward for luggage. Not hotels fault but 30 minute flashmob with boombox speaker outside at 5am ruined sleep and no attempt to move them on. Check in poor why have a self check in and then be acvosted by a member of staff after you have done it and aant to go to room. Likewise why have a delf check out and staff member standong over you - just seems pointless!

Trendy location, cool design.

Area is very cool—an interesting spot to explore that is not “touristy”. The hotel lobby was a neat place to hang out. The room is small but very efficiently laid out and organized so we don’t feel cramped. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet for sleeping.

CitizenM hotels are always consistent. Would always recommend.

I enjoyed my experience so much I plan on seeking out this chain the future. The rooms are on the smaller side but don’t feel that way. I love the modern look and the technology. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast was well worth the money.

This is still my 'go to' hotel in the Shoreditch neighborhood of London. It's convenient to my family and it's only a 10-minute walk to the Liverpool St Tube Station. The hotel has an excellent full English breakfast with custom coffee service that I always take advantage of. Just be aware that these are well-designed but very small rooms, which is a trademark of this chain. They have the nicest, friendliest staff you'll ever find at a hotel.

Busy with people doing conference calls and writing emails at long, wooden communal dining tables. The bedrooms are small with the bed surrounded on 3 of 4 sides meaning you have to climb over someone to get it in to or out of the bed.

Travelled for work and stayed a single night, but I was amazed with the service and friendliness of the staff. The room is small and ok for 1 person It is also nice to control different features utilizing a tablet.

Our stay at citizenM was absolutely lovely. Location was great, hotel was incredibly comfortable, with very nice modern touches it is a hotel brand I will now be looking for in any city I visit. Also sound proofing in the hotel was some of the most impressive I have ever seen.

I woke up with bug bites all over my legs. I told the manager and they did not do anything since they said there was no evidence of bugs in the bed.

Great place to stay, rooms are interesting and somewhat "high tech" with the iPad controlling everything. If you happent to come to this branch and going to the dining area around night time, be sure to say hello to Sergio. Great guy, great chat and very hospitable! Was going through a bit of a rough patch personally, but he was kind enough to hang around and chat for a bit during the quieter time :)

Well, what a pleasure this hotel was from start to finish. The property itself is decorated in a quirky stylish way. All the room amenities were controlled by your very own Ipad …tv lights blinds heat etc. Very cool. The pod bathrooms are fab and the bed was so comfortable. This hotel has everything you need for a relaxed and pleasant london stay. Rooms were squeaky clean with great big towels and an option to save the environment and opt out of daily cleaning! smart! The breakfast was first class with options for everyone. A great variety and good quality food. But the thing that makes this hotel that little bit special is the staff! They were very pleasant and courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. They took time to speak to guests and were happy to deal with any enquiries, helping with luggage etc for our early arrival. The bar and restaurant service was excellent and we even had a staff member who came especially to say goodbye. We were so impressed with this little gem of a hotel. It was a ten minute walk to the tube and loads of lovely local eating places within walking distance. From someone who never writes reviews do yourself a favour and book it! we will definitely be back!

This is a great hotel in a great area of the city. I would recommend this city to anybody looking for a truly relaxing experience.
