It was a very friendly welcome as we came to the front door. Although the guy wasn’t right there (it was after 7 PM) the contact number was right there AND he was quick to answer and come.
Super nice guy, quick check in, a slight upgrade, and we were ready.
The space we got was cute, rustic, clean, and cozy. The only complaint would be that it was late September and it got quite cool at night, with no option of heating the space up.
All in all we would stay here again!

There were several very unappealing things about the state of uncleanliness. Please see the pictures. I reported several things including the squashed fly on the inside of the window, the very dirty walkway leading to our room, and expected that they would actually do something about it, but they did nothing.
There was an unwelcoming sign in the room indicating that if you wanted clean towels you had to gather them up, put them in the basket and put them outside your door! No cleaning of the room during our stay.
There was hair in the shower/bath.

Pool hours were 11-8, but you have to check in after 330 and check out before 10. If you’re staying 1 night that means you’re very limited in time to use it. Basically just a few hours on first day.
Key for back door did not work so had to walk around building to get back in after swim. Also people are allowed to smoke right outside your back door which goes right into the room. Very strong smell especially when not tobacco.
The kids loved the pool!

We really enjoyed our stay at Silverwood! I couldn't get over how clean the room smelled when we first arrived. The room has a little kitchenette which was great when traveling with toddler. Also the bathroom was fantastically clean! Staff very friendly as well, they came to room when checked in to be sure everything was set up and explained the TV. Great experience!

We were greeted by a friendly front desk staff. The room was spacious and super clean. We asked for a late checkout to allow our travel weary toddler a much needed nap and they were more than accommodating. I would have wished we stayed here our entire time in the Cavendish area

We spend one night everything was good and cleaned.

I was quite disapointed that there was no one at teh desk to speak to other then check in time. No one to talk to after 6pm. So if there was a problem, there was no one present to help. Just no personal I guess. The lady who did eventually check me in was friendly. The office door was only unlocked from 3:30 (check-intime) to 6 pm. And check out there was a box to drop keys. Nothing warm about that or to get feedback fromt he stay.

Good luck finding help, when you need it. Our room bath tub had a slow drain problem, the next morning when I tried to walk into the office after the post opening time of 9 AM, no one was there. Plumbing was from the 70s! The beds mattresses were also old. I will never come back again. Oh on check out time, same thing, no one was at the office at 10 AM, I just dropped the keys and left.

We had a full-size refrigerator in our room which was great for keeping drinks cold and refreezing cold packs for our coolers. They didn't have their room procedures written down, for example we were to leave dirty towels and trash in a basket and can respectively outside of our room. We only learned that by observing others.

Owners were awful, room was dirty, outlet in bathroom never worked, AC did not work, workers came in room while we were away without our permission, someone’s stuff was left under our bed from previous stay, spider webs in corner of room, no plug for bathroom when they knew we had children coming, and when we brought the issues up to them they hung up on us. We are very upset with our stay. Also $100 was charged extra and no one knows why. Never again will we go through them

I shared some ideas with the manager, I hope over time he incorporates them. I was disappointed about not having a coffee machine in the room, pretty standard these days. Had to ask for plastic cups, weren’t in the bathroom. No ice bucket in the room so I bought plastic ice bags you fill with water and freeze.☺️who knew? Not me! Later I seen a guest with ice in a bag!🤷♀️ I seen a freezer out the back later on, would have been nice to be told. After dropping over 1100 dollars for a five night stay, no “ thank you” or “ have a nice stay”! Came in earlier than check in, waited a bit, but got our room a little earlier so that was a blessing!

The room was clean, although the shower looked like it had seen better days. Stay were ok. The bed was very hard and the blankets were torn and had holes.

This property needs a serious update. The price you pay is unbelievable for the condition of the room and property. Room is dated, smelt musty. The steps, and stairs are dated, unpainted, rotting wood, etc.
Was also charged extra for our children when we booked a two bed room precisely for that reason. Would never stay again.

Parking was a bit tight . Shower was broken . Hair dryer was broken smoke detector was broken chair had stains on it .
Quilt was very old .
Staff were very helpful and discovered the tv remote also controlled the air conditioner . When you pressed up on the tv remote it would turn the a/c on and off eveytime .

We didn't have much interaction with the staff but the property itself was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was a great addition. We would definitely stay there again.

It’s a classic motel experience so set your expectations. But it’s centrally located with a grocery store across the road. The room is comfortable. All good!

The WiFi did not work the second day as well as the television didn't work which was disappointing. The fridge was also leaking the next day I found.

We felt there were lots of repairs needed to support this motel.
Our room had many outlets that did t work. Staff needed to bring an extension cord for us.
Th bathroom, and by extension the room, smelled like must/mold.

We had lots of space in our room, was missing a small table, so we could eat in our room. But it was very spacious, staff were so nice and accommodating. As far as cleanliness, the bathroom floors and tub could have been more cleaned.
But overall,we were very satisfied with our stay.
