We were disappointed with our stay overall and didn't feel this was a four-star hotel.
We received emails in advance welcoming us and we completed the necessary information ahead of arrival and check-in. We also received an email inviting us to book their restaurant for dinner, which we did and were really looking forward to it. On arrival we were informed that the restaurant would be closed all weekend, even though we received an email from the hotel and booked a table through their link.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but there were no slippers and it wasn't very soundproof, so we could hear the street noise.
The breakfast on our first morning was very good with a lot of choice but they ran out of a few food choices on our second morning, even yoghurt, which was surprising and again disappointing.
Most the staff members were friendly and helpful and were doing their best during difficult moments like the food running out, but some didn't seem very well trained or knowledgeable.
The lobby, bar and outdoor courtyard were comfortable areas to relax. The hotel's location was a conveniently short walk to/from the Eurostar station.
Despite a few positives we probably wouldn't stay here again and we wouldn't recommend this hotel to our friends.

Nice hotel and good location - very poor room - apparently 2 comfort rooms are designed for reduced mobility guests - located on ground floor next to internal courtyard- no view, small space, bathroom / wet room had poor drainage - not good

Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating, even helped me with translating. An unbelievable stay while I cheered on the USA men's basketball team!

Chiara at Reception was just wonderful and gave a full overview of the must see places with the map. She really made our stay. The barmen were great too. Everything was wonderful in the hotel. Rooms were super comfortable and spotless. Will stay again.

The minute you enter the Lobby it smells like room freshener/perfume on steroids. It is a sweet sickening smell. I am not sure how anyone could eat in their restaurant with that smell or what it is masking. No one at check in knew when breakfast was. Very disorganized. Room was small and predominately brown. Everything was brown even the towels. Horrible. The shower when turned on would flood floor. Do not recommend.

Very close to the historic center and a short walk to the train station. The staff was most friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel and staff were lovely, and the restaurant, Jane, was the big surprise. Excellent, and I had no idea it was in the hotel when I booked.

Perfect stay with 5 star Service. Love the attention upon Arrival. We didn’t have dinner and Clemence offered us some amazing options to have something to eat in room service.
Little treats in the room that are delicious. Love the dark chocolate.
We are returning customers and will always come back to this hotel which we rarely do ( coming back to one hotel )

Hotel was in perfect location for exploring the old town in Lille (which is really worth a visit ) whilst being away from the main square and any associated noise.
Rooms were furnished nicely and were clean and fresh.

Good hotel in great location near old Lille and main railway station. Room was large with great shower. Nice offer to “green me up” which gave two free drink tokens if you didn’t need your room cleaning. Unfortunately there were extensive roadworks outside the hotel during our stay in September 2023 which were noisy together with the school next door. Fortunately it was quiet at night. Staff were very friendly and gave great advice and map on check in. Breakfast was great with large choice of healthy food, but a bit expensive. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Nice big room with a huge bed. But the bed could do with some maintenance as just sitting on it made a terrible screeching noise. Otherwise it was very comfy.
Nice big shower, but with a weird shower head that hurt a bit with the pressure.
Currently (Aug23) there are extensive roadworks right outside which are noisy starting really early. The soundproofing is pretty good, but it’s still a bit annoying.
Free drink in the bar offered if you skip room cleaning on longer stays is great.

As always, very happy with our stay. Highly recommend the junior suite, it’s spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated.
This hotel is about 10 mins easy walk from the Eurostar and is just around the corner from amazing le Vieux-Lille et La grande place with many fantastic restaurants.

A gem. Not historic, but next to the beautiful of town. It is a beautiful new building, immaculate, and convenient place and location. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is very comfortable, well located and has a nice vibe. Some great eco initiatives which was really great to see - and something in it for the guest aswell!! The location was ideal, just at the edge of old Lille, and so you could easily pop back to the hotel between outings. Breakfast was really good - but the service at breakfast was a bit disorganised - there was enough staff but it seemed to be doing everything at the same time and the service needed some focus. There is a small courtyard which was perfect for a late afternoon drink in sun or shade. Parking in the Opera carpark just next door (underground) was great.

Despite the road works in Lille centre the car park Opera was easy to locate and handle, less than 100 metres from the hotel entrance with no roads to cross.

Brilliant location. Just a 10-15 min walk from the train station and then straight into the old town within 5 minutes. Really friendly staff. Clean and tidy.
