This hotel has very good breakfast mear a walking trail and rooms have nice balconies for smoking

The property felt very safe with professional maintenance staff as well as utility care. I was given a room that satisfied the majority of my needs without any issues that I would personally consider to be very inconvenient, and the overall service was generally respectable.
While it took me some time to get used to the surroundings of the property due to my lack of German knowledge, I did not feel as though the neighborhood was dangerous at any given time nor particularly alien. The people I met were patient with me and treated me well, and the transportation services that passed in the neighborhood were also excellent.
In short, I had a pleasant time at Best Western Kaiserslautern. I look forward to my next stay there, should I have any more of them in the near future.

Rooms are a decent size, the bed is very comfortable, free parking, and the best breakfast in the area. Also they are infant/toddler friendly.

I was told prior to arrival that I would need to have a covid test on arrival at the hotel and every 3 days. I checked before I arrived with the Germany consulate who said this was not true as long as we were vaccinated and had our boosters (which we did). The hotel said this was not true and made us take a covid test before they checked us in. Also every three days. We did not enjoy this stay because of this! Also masks were required everywhere in the hotel even though the hotel was almost empty. The biggest waste of time was we had to put our masks on to go to the breakfast buffet even though our seat was only 8 feet to the buffet while were eating!! Gloves would have been more helpful for safety.

Great parking fantastic staff, rooms are very dark and heating doesnt work very well. WIFI is very very bad!! - almost unusable.

The room was ok, but the air condition is absolutely a joke. the sun was heating up the room and the air condition is not cooling down the room , it was like a sauna !

Rooms poorly furnished, suit that I had and paid extra for, had additional sofa only , no A/c air quality was poor in the room. We had always open balcony door for fresh air as it was hot in the room. Gym poorly staffed with equipment, sauna was a pleasant surprise

Pretty good hotel. Free parking on the property is limited. Otherwise you can park outside the property or pay to park in their garage. I like that they have a sauna and the gym (even though its small). My room lacks a refrigerator and a safe in my room. Otherwise a nice simple hotel.

The hotel was nice, though it needs remodelling on the outside. Also, there shhould be restaurant service on Sundays, for they only offer pizza or sandwiches. Transportation was accessible from the train station and service was friendly and good.

The hotel looks good from the outside and the lobby/bar area is cool but the hotel has a ‘musty’ smell which is strange. Then the rooms are not bad but they need some maintenance. My patio area was destroyed and the bathroom had a few stains. Finally there is no A/C control. Luckily it was pleasant outside so I kept the window open but if it would have been hot it would have been awful.

The room was disappointing. The elevators: one did not work at all, the second worked intermittently. My husband and I were both injured so it was hard on us. The clients helped us to the room.

Clean, modern, comfortable, excellent staff and great breakfast. Perfect hotel for a quick visit or business trip, I stayed in the smallest room which was still extremely comfortable with a nice bathroom and everything I needed to get my work done.

Decent, basic hotel with clean room but so hot in room that we were miserable. I know German hotels don’t have AC but, with this type of weather, fans should be in every room. Luckily we brought our own.

Nice, clean lobby with attentive staff but my bathroom sink was clogged. Notified the staff after the first night who appeared concerned. After returning to the room the night, found the sink was still clogged. Room was quaint by German standards, however, it had not been dusted for several days (if not weeks). Perhaps the hotel management could consider air conditioning the hotel as German days are getting hotter.
