Cheap room. Bathroom was tidy. Quite noisy

Its very cheap, thats the only good thing. Arrived late, doors were locked, thankfully someone else was entering when i got there. Took an hour to get checked in. Someone was in the bed already. When i did get an available bed, the road noise was very loud and the room quite hot, despite the window being open and the outside being quite cool (it must be unbearable when its actually hot outside). The showerhead was broken. Very shady area. Second A&O hostel i've tried and i would never stay at this brand again.

Good services, nice meals, the rooms are news and really clean. Nice hotel to stay!

First time we visit this hostel and our stay has been very nice. A quiet room in a silent area (as requested) with confortable beds. Great value for money and very well located close to the main train station and the city center. Will repeat the next time we visit Bremen

I got charged twice for the stay, but I mentioned it the next morning and was promised a refund

I had to pay 3 Euro for Towels and a bedcover. But It's Okay. The room ist a little bit small but clean.

Ok for the price

Unfortunately a lot of noise. Impossible to sleep, if you live next to anyone. You can hear everything from the rooms next to you. Hot rooms and if you open the window you can hear tvs, partying and people constantly talking. The room is small but nice, clean and in good shape. The beds have fine mattresses, but the underneath is not big enough, so you have to sleep in the middle of the bed. The covers are made to cover the mattresses, so it gets unusual hot - and you don't want to sleep with the window open ;-) Nice young staff

We end up leaving after one night. The hotel was clean enough but it was in a rough part of town. We ended up parking our car near abandoned lots because there was no room for paid parking. Our room had a window to the side space of the building, which others had jumped out there window and were looking in ours. So we ended up locking our window, which was the only form of air circulation. The people above us were blasting music and throwing bottles out their window. They didn’t stop until others complained. We didn’t feel safe there so we left early.

The service was great and the place was close to the central station. I had no complaints. For the price it was amazing!

Nice place

Slept like a baby. Not as noisy as I thouht it would be. Need a cleaning of the wall. Other than that it was super cozy :)

All good and very friendly service! Room was unbearably hot but the heatwave outside was unusually 33 degrees hot so don’t feel we can blame the hotel. Air condition would have been nice but Probably not required had the temperature outside been normal. About 15-20 min walk to the main square.

Convenient and good value for our one night stoppover

The staff should show a bit more enthusiastic around costumers. I know, it was a night shift, but he seemed of lacking too much energy. Also, we were having drinks by the window, next to the kids area, and he began switching the lights off (little spotlights from the ceiling). Perhaps he thought it would be cozy, or it was one of their rules at night, but it was a bit too dark though. Maybe ask the people first, it’s not that bad to connect with people. 😃 Overall, a pleasant stay. Just a minor error from the service’s side. The room was clean and practical, plus, very easy to check out.

You could smell cigarette smoke right at the lobby area, because the cigarette trash bin was placed right outside the entrance.

This place had good facilities and was spotlessly clean, but was far too functional and impersonal. It was a bit like staying in a hospital or an institution. No character or ambience. No proper lockers in the dorm room, only metal cages under the bed. You can put a padlock on the cages, but as they are not fixed to anything, the cages plus contents could simply be removed, which kind of defeats their purpose. Location very convenient for the train station, but not so handy for the city centre or the main nightlife area.

One night stay after flying into Bremen before moving on. Stayed in several A&O hotels around Germany so knew what to expect. Clean functional room & fine for overnight stay. I’d made an error with my booking as thought I’d booked a solo room but in fact booked a bed in a dormitory. Thanks to helpful guy at reception I was able to pay difference for an individual room.

Some guy was snoring very loudly and I went to reception they didn’t sell ear plugs which meant I had bad sleep. There are no bed sheets included they are extra €3.50 luckily the woman at desk was nice and gave them for free but it’s hard to put on the bed. Location was okay not too far and price was good.

Convenient ten-minute walk from Bremen Central Station, the a&o hostel has very modern in-dorm personal facilities, and a kitchen/laundry area for catering to your own needs. The very spacious recreation area allows for relaxation and enjoying a coffee or beer.

Overall good hostel. Lobby / common area is very spacious. The DOM is quite good with en-suit. But no power socket at bedside and USB outlet was not working. There was additional charge for bedding sheet which was a bit surprise.

No aircondition and was not able to sleep.i eneded up sleeping in my family house which I did not want from the first place and because of that am cancelling all my bookings with expedia

Worth it for the price and the staff is very friendly

The room was clean enough and the beds were comfortable enough. Nothing about it was very inviting. We had to make one of our own beds as well. Basically felt like a college dorm.

Easy check in and spacious room. Good shower and nice clean bathroom. As we had extra beds in the room we had to make the beds up ourselves which I thought was a bit unnecessary. Rooms are very comfortable, but walls are paper thin! (Seems to be a trait of the A&O chain!) Reception staff are very helpful and there is a nice bar which is great to come back to at the end of the day!
