From the outset, it was a rather disappointing experience. I arrived quite early in the morning from a long flight and I was hoping to check in a bit earlier, even if it meant I had to pay for their early check-in fee. However, I wasn’t given this option even though they state on the website check-in from 8am is available for a fee. I was told that housekeeping hadn’t started yet so no rooms would be ready. If housekeeping doesn’t start until later, why would you advertise that you can check in early for a fee? With nothing to do until later in the day and severely jet lagged, I spent money in their cafe/bar for 3 hours trying to pass some time until check-in. After going to ask reception a few more times about early check-in, they eventually checked me in around midday. The room was sterile in the worst way possible. It’s white, cold and old. Lots of white plastic surfaces, white walls, and steel appliances. The bathroom felt like a public bathroom. The bed was hard as nails and gave me a bad back. The balcony was filthy. But the worst thing in my opinion was how many labels, stickers and warning signs were plastered all over the room. I get that it’s important to list safety features etc but I don’t need to be reminded that I can’t smoke in this room, can’t cook heavily on the stove etc. Every wall had something on it with applicable fines attached. Lastly, it took 3 weeks, several emails and a phone call to my bank to get my deposit back.

We always like the ambience and facilities of this Hotel and we have stayed a number of times.

A pleasant stay at Branksome, perfect for a quick overnight before early morning flight.

I booked a studio ansngot a two bedroom (one room locked) it was amazinf had everything you need from 1 night to long term stay. nice coffee machine with plenty of pods. tv in living room and bedroom, electric blinds makes it dark huge balcony.

The staff were great, the room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. It was quiet and near the airport. The food was so amazing that we made a point to come back and eat in the restaurant. Try the green curry or the beef rendang. Yum! We were very happy to have a washer & dryer in our unit, but the dryer did a poor job of drying our clothes. The appliances are overly complex, requiring study of multiple pages of instructions. There is an ipad provided with all of the necessary instructions, but after traveling 24 hours without sleep, I don't want to slog thru 34 pages of instructions just to make coffee or reheat my leftovers. The shower doors didn't fully close, leaving a 2-finger sized gap that allowed water to spray out onto the floor. The beds are very hard, mattress toppers are provided on request. Mascot train station is about a 20 minute walk away. The train takes you to Circular Quay/Opera House in about 16 minutes. Overall, we loved our stay here and would stay again.

Always a pleasure to stay at this wonderful hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, the room was very spacious and comfortable. We dined in the restaurant for dinner, which was excellent value, and breakfast, again great value. Highly recommended and our preferred stay in this area, Service was fantastic.

Front desk require a training on how to speak with costomers . I made a mistake selecting the number of people .He was asking me why you did that !! Very poor communicator . I asked him why do you need to hold big amount as incidential for 1 night ? its answer was that we don't know what's going to happen in the room !! This hotel for emergency only incase your flight cancel and the airline will give you voucher to stay in it .

Beautiful hotel residences and apartments close to the airport and sleek rooms with all required amenities and services.

The room was spacious & perfectly clean. There was some noise from the nearby airport but the room itself was great

Close to airport, nice hotel. Reception staff possibly not trained or skilled for understanding the client, disappointing. Given wrong room type booked, requested to be corrected, we thought it was. We went to new room. To then be moved again, to room with a pole in the tiny bedroom. All travelling with my 85 year old father! Not great customer service, won’t stay again.

Always enjoy a stay at the Branksome. Lovely rooms with great amenities. Enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant, and a good night's sleep. Best airport hotel in Sydney that is for sure

We just stayed overnight before our flight back to the US. They upgraded us to a huge one-bedroom apartment on the corner with two bathrooms and a massive balcony. Very modern, clean and luxurious. I wish I could have stayed longer. I was there with my wife and daughter, so naturally, I slept on the couch. The couch was actually pretty comfortable.

Love the location. Not much noise insulation though. Could hear the planes and noises from other rooms. Got a good rest though.

A warm welcome and easy check in. Parking was hassle free. The apartment was nicley decorated. Bedrooms were nice and the bathrooms were modern. Tea and coffee provided. Would gave been nice to have sime nice biscuits supplied too. Close to the airport which was noisy but we didnt mind rooftop bat was relax8ng and food in the restaurant was nice

This is the third time I have stayed at the Branksome and it is everything you need in a hotel/apartment stay. It is just ideal, great location, close to the airport, good staff, excellent rooms, clean and at the end of the street is the Mascot shops, everything there you could need, cafes, restaurants, takeaways, pubs, fastfood, supermarket banks etc etc Highly recommend.

Always great - Branksome is my Sydney airport go to place, and they have a great rooftop bar.

We booked two nights as we were flying in at 6am from SFO and knew we needed room to be ready for a hot shower and rest. I had asked for quiet and first room looked out across street and rail. The receptionist Monika moved us immediately to other side of building which was perfect. The washing machine was a great add! And we took an Uber to Woolies at Mascot. The restaurant food looked great but we needed something light. We had room service breakfast and food was stone cold and for $60 the poached egg avo and sourdough was just that! Some microgreens and garnish would have improved it a great deal. We ate it regardless as we were so hungry but it’s worthwhile to note because I’m sure it was unintentional. Thank you Branksome.

Great for flight travellers

Very comfortable stay. Clean and well-appointed apartment. Close proximity to airport. Restaurants and cafes nearby.

Overall happy with this property. The clothes washer and dryer in the room were a great help. Tasty on-site dining. The missing star was for access to public transit, a bit of a walk.

The property was very nice and close to SYD airport. Pool and sauna are fantastic. Breakfast is great with different options. Staff are nice. Beds are super hard so ask for a comforter at check in. Was clean but sofas could do with a steam clean. Found food scraps under the cushions and drink stains. Wasnt too bad and everything else was clean and fresh. Our room had a washer and dryer so was great to get some washing done before our next flight. Shuttle experience was fantastic. The Filipino driver (didnt catch his name) is super friendly and nice. Need more good people like him please! :)

Amazing room, had more amenities than we anticipated and it's only 18 minute walk from the airport. The pool was great and the sauna as well. Live music on Fridays was a great bonus! Only thing is that the staff wasn't as reliable as expected, we had some issues with communication here and there regarding our room credit and we weren't greeted each night. Nonetheless, the staff was nice enough and attended to all our needs :)

Good hotel to stay right by the airport. Stayed for 3 nights came from Canada . Would be coming back again.
