Lovely modern colourful hotel with interesting art, a cosy bar and a good restaurant. Great location for exploring Myvatn area.

Great location very close to the sights in Myvatin. Walkable to additional restaurants and a grocery store. Hot tubs on site.

Staff was very friendly. Proactive notification of the northern lights was great. Included free breakfast buffet was outstanding. The only thing we wished fir was a little more space in our room. It was really tight for two people.

Our stay here while traveling the Ring Rd was quiet and restful. It was super convenient to area sites. Having a formal restaurant and one with no reservations was great for our timing. The bed was great and amenities pleasant. Staff were helpful and very service oriented.

I stayed 2 nights here while exploring the Mývatn area and it was convenient, cozy, & offered plenty of options for dining.
My only critique here would be that, unlike most other stays in Iceland, breakfast is an extra 4500 ISK (45 CAD). I do like that there are a couple of on-site dining options, though. And the outdoor hot tubs are a nice-to-have.

The room is clean and spacious, liked the heated towel rack in the bathroom, helped dry up our wet clothes from the rain. The check-in process was very smooth and the staff explained everything in detail and very patient with our questions. Good location, right beside Myvatn lake.

Good options for dinner in hotel and nearby, but no options for breakfast other than the hotel's, which is pricey.

This hotel stood out among others as being luxurious, refined and the staff really cared out its guests having a premium and memorable experience. We stayed in a superior room and found the two chairs to be comfortable (they slightly reclined when using them) and the fan was the only one we ever saw in the country to give us airflow. Nice decor throughout, highly recommend!

Loved this hotel it was spacious qnd the bed were comfortable plus has a delicious restaurant just outside the hotel front door. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Overrated for the price, instead get a cabin or stay at Akureyri or husavik for better options. Nice breakfast though.

I loved that the rooms had access to them from the outside. The hotel was located away from anything else and it felt like you were staying in a very remote place. The staff was great and very accommodating.

Very clean, nice and efficient staff. Breakfast super expensive so didn’t buy that. Room was comfortable but very loud and could hear people above and below and both sides even humming and singing because of the decreased sound proofing. Hard to sleep because of that

A great convenient spot for our stay in Lake Myvatn. Would expect a better parking lot (lots of gravel/potholes) and a less cramped room for the price, but lovely staff, nice bar, good stay overall.

Great location at lake Myvatn. The rooms are modern and the whole hotel feels clean and recently renovated. The hot-tubs are a really nice touch. Midges were not a problem during our stay, there were virtually none in the area of the hotel.

We were so happy with our room, the amenities, the staff, buffet breakfast and even the toiletries. They had everything we needed and the hotel is so stylish.

Despite what seemed like a bit of a more remote location, there was so much to see and do in the area. Actually wish we would have had more time to explore. The only con we had about the place was that the rooms were HOT. Fortunately, they provided fans, but we checked into a room in the afternoon in July, and the shades were open with the sun heating the room all day before we got there. We never got the place cooled down at all.

Very nice hotel perfectly located for exploring the Myvatn region. Rooms were very clean and comfortable (if slightly warm, but then we were there when the weather was particularly good).
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and the hotel has two restaurants. We went to both and enjoyed them. Nice bar area too. Would stay again.
