The property is beautiful however the photos for the Deluxe Suite with River View room are not of the room we got. The photos are of a room that looks much larger with doors to a balcony. Our room did not have these features.

We stayed at Lola suit which was more than we can describe. The hotel is in an ancient beautiful building close to the sea and main attractions. The staff - Rodrigo Bruno and Xavier were extremely nice and breakfast was very good. Most recommended to everyone that want a pleasant stay.

That they had no vacancy for another night.....

We were not fully prepared for the entrance challenge of the steps from the taxi drop off. However, the staff came right out and helped us. Perhaps a better description of the entry options would help . Tiago was excellent with check in , helping book outside services and restaurant recommendations. He also serviced breakfast with style and humor. We highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff are super-accommodating regarding when needed where you would like to have it. Amazing place!

Don’t follow the Google Map directions to get there: it led us down narrow streets that are not at all appropriate for vehicles, even if they are small. Drive around the front and ask staff to help bring your luggage up.

I came with my mom for the first time to Lisbon and Alfama area. we both loved it ! we felt like we are princess in a fairy tell movie from old times. the suite were AMAZING. clean and comfortable. the person who works there were so nice ! always smiling and helping us and with good advises. the location is wonderful and the breakfast is Amazing !!! all top of the top ! and when we come back to Lisbon we will for sure come back to this amazing place and 1 time experience.

This hotel is easily one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The location is excellent and the staff and service were exceptional. Breakfast was a real treat. We booked a taxi transfer through the hotel at €35 each way and I would highly recommend doing that as it is tricky to find. They have their own private driver who was very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a complimentary mini bar with soft drinks, juice, water and a beer which was replenished each day which was a very nice touch.
