Our group of ten (six kids and four adults) had an excellent experience with this large and spacious property. Alexandra coordinated our excursions and transfers; Marvin took care of us on the property; and Josselyn cooked an amazing meal. Christian and Eduardo were great drivers. We highly recommend this house and all of the experiences and people that come with it.

Group of 10 including two 5 year olds and a 1.5 year old. What drew us to the property was that every room could be made into a king and had an en-suite. The layout was very practical for our group. Downstairs space served as a good work space while upstairs stayed as entertainment. The views are unbelievable. Some bathrooms could use some updating (mineral deposits, etc), but otherwise better than the pictures look. Some add-ons that would have made it perfect - one large table for dining instead of the two separate. Beach umbrellas and more chairs. Better stove - not all burners were functioning. Marvin the housekeeper was very punctual. The AC (once we figured it out on the upper floor) was much appreciated.

We had a great time staying here! The house had lots of room for the 11 of us. The location was great with close access to town, day trips and just hanging out at the beach and the pool. The concierge was fantastic! We are last minute planners and she was very accommodating. She booked us on a private boat for snorkeling and some fishing, with great food included. Also, she booked wave runners that were brought to the beach at the house! She touched base often to see if we needed anything. Our youngest traveler was under 2 and it did take a little more work to keep her safe, as the pool and deck are on the second floor. The family all agreed it was our best vacation!

This was a wonderful property! The kitchen was stocked with all the needed equipment. Very clean and the team was available to assist when needed. Loved it!

This house was huge - more than sufficient to house a group of 10 adults. Can’t say enough good things. Older property and maybe some minor repairs needed - but felt fun and authentic and was well equipped with everything you needed - including a great sound system piped through to every area of the house and patio. (This place is So big we never even used the downstairs space other than the bedrooms) We were here for 10 days. The infinity pool and covered patio were a god send … and what an amazing view and nightly sunset. The open concept kitchen and common space was also amazing. The walk out to the beach couldn’t be beat. We used all the things they had to offer - bikes for daily trips to the grocery, boogie boards for wave surfing. Alex was our contact at Blue Zone Group and she was extremely responsive and helpful. Arranged any and everything we needed. The on-site property manager Marvin was also fantastic and took care of anything we needed. Two thumbs up to the team. The area overall is fantastic. Great beach or surf side restaurants and lots of nearby things to do. Congo Trail. Nita’s coffee shop. Hemingways. We hired in masseuses for a day and an amazing private chef one night. You will love this place and the area !!

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with our children and grandchildren in this spacious home. We loved having all the beach “toys” to use in the warm ocean, and hours were spent in the infinity pool off of the large covered patio. Thru Alexandra, we had a golf cart to use for errands, and our start-up groceries were there on arrival. She also arranged transport for us from/to the airport. Marvin greeted us on arrival and was helpful whenever we needed him. We walked to dinners at Las Brisas and Hemingways, and enjoyed the brewery in town, chartered an awesome four-hour sailing cruise, and went on an ATV tour. The week was everything we wanted it to be … Pura Vida!

We loved everything about this place. Plenty of space for our family, beautiful views, fun activities right on the beach, lovely people everywhere we went, great restaurants nearby. Alexandra and Marvin took great care of us. It was just right.

The house was so much bigger than we expected. The gathering spaces are incredible. We spent a lot of time in the outside area where you can hear the waves rolling in. Marvin, Alejandra, and Jimmy were all very helpful. This was a wonderful place to stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful property! We had a driver bring us from La Fortuna area and were met by the property caretaker when we arrived. We were a party of 6 (2 families of 3) and had more than enough room to accommodate us. The downstairs area was barely used except for sleeping since the upstairs living area and outside area were exceptional. We did find a couple of spiderwebs strewn throughout the home but other than that the home was very clean. Groceries were ordered prior to our stay and the convenience of having some basic necessities in the home when we arrived was worth the extra fee. The outside patio area is where we spent the majority of our time. Sunsets from the terrace were breathtaking. The bluetooth sound system allowed us to listen to our music while we relaxed, grilled and ate outside. The girls did yoga on the patio every morning and were able to take a class a short walking distance away. There were restaurants within walking distance, as well. The location of Potrero was exactly what we were looking for. The beach outside of the home was private and comfortable. I know many reviews have said not to expect the white, sandy beach in this area and this is true. That being said, it wasn't an issue. We used the kayak and paddle boards on one day which was great to have the option. Our concierge set us up with a company that brought wave runners right outside our home and we went on an excellent 2 hour tour that showed us the other beaches, did a cliff dive and enjoyed the beauty of Costa Rica. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short by one day due to an oncoming tropical storm and the worry of not being able to get back to the U.S. Overall, this is an excellent property!

It was our first time to Costa Rica, and the amazing staff that works for LEP was absolutely wonderful! Alexandra was such a gift to have to help us with anything we needed. She set up transfers to and from the airport, a rental car delivered to the house, stocked groceries upon arrival, private chefs, and tons of suggestions of things to do. The house itself was just heaven! Right on the beach, and close to TONS of other beaches. One day we just beach hopped and went to 5 beaches within one day, all within a 10 minute drive of the house. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views and sunsets. The house had everything we needed for a great "home base" while in Costa Rica. There was also plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the house. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further! LEP will go above and beyond to make sure you have the most relaxing vacation you will ever experience!

The house and location could not have been better! The team that helped take care of us was top notch: Alexandra (concierge), Marvin (grounds keeper) and Eduardo (transportation). Everyone was extremely helpful, patient and kind. I would highly recommend Casa de Suenos!

The location is outstanding with amazing views of the sunset each evening and an elevated pool to enjoy the view and keep cool. We have enjoyed taking out the kayaks and the stand up paddle boards. The house is very clean an well maintained. Potrero is not as busy as some other beaches, which we really enjoy, yet is a short drive to other busier towns along the coast such as Tamarindo. We are looking forward to a third stay next year.

We watch the birds early in the morning and the howler monkeys call us to wake up and get ready for a wonderful day. At Sunset on the ocean side of Casa de Suenos we raise a glass to cheer the beautiful sun as it sinks over the ocean. The beach just past the back yard gate is never full of people. A few fisherman are there early in the morning, and occasional beach strollers are walking by. Kayaks and other water toys are available for our use. We return from our morning beach stroll to have our wellness yoga class. Then it is time for our healthy "Blue Zones" type breakfast. A French Bakery is near by if we want some wonderful pastries for a special treat. Any needs or questions that we have are immediately taken care of by LEP, or Marvin and Reina. We will be back next year!

There were 10 of us and the house was more than spacious for us. The house is gorgeous and clean. Alexandra was beyond helpful arranging all our transportation needs and setting up excursions for us. She put us in contact with a local chef who came to the house and prepared dinner for us. She arranged a golf cart rental for the week and it was perfect to get around town. Marvin the groundskeeper was onsite and available to answer any questions about the house and assist us with the kayaks and bikes. Our favorite part of this house was the pool, it’s on the second floor and the view of the ocean is amazing. The beach is very fine sand/silt so every wave turns up the silt, so it isn’t clear. We had an incredible time and would highly recommend this house.

This large house right on quiet Portrero beach worked perfectly for my family of 10 - 3 grandchildren (/9, 7, 4) and 7 adults. It's pretty much as advertised. Walking distance to stores and shops and terrific gelato (yes, really). Each bedroom has a well appointed bathroom. Note: most of the bedrooms tend to be small with and a little on the dark side - i.e., no windows (especially downstairs) = bit comfortable. The on-site caretaker is very helpful (limited English). The pool is small but perfect for small children (however, not fenced) and for just hanging out. We spent most of out time hanging out on the deck overlooking the beach. The kitchen is also well appointed and we used the outdoor gilll and sink a lot. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

My group of 9 friends and I had a blast at Casa De Suenos. The house is incredible, spacious and well maintained. We spent hours in the pool or on the patio overlooking the oceans and sunsets. There were enough bikes for the whole group to get around town and a few kayaks/paddle boards to go out in the ocean. Marvin was a very kind host on the grounds and Alexandra was the absolute best! She helped us plan airport transport, taxis throughout the trip, coordinate several excursions to the Arenal Volano region, hot springs, sunset sailing, tamarindo, etc. We had Chef Karen come to the house and prepare an amazing costa rica meal on our last night and it was well worth it. I would highly recommend it. The whole stay was a full service experience and we can't wait to go back again!

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay with wife and four children who range in age from 15-21. The house was as advertised and provided plenty of room to spread out for quiet time or gather as a group for meals and games. The pool, patio and beach were where the majority of time was spent and it was an easy walk down the beach to great restaurants and activities. Hats off to Alex our concierge and Eduardo our driver for their flexibility and customization of trips that catered to all the families interests. This is one of the busiest times of the year and we were behind the curve in getting our plans locked down and over to Alex and team before we arrived. Despite this, they were able to work their magic to get a great set of reservations and activities in place on very short notice. Some of the highlights were the trip to watch the sea turtles nesting/hatching, the trip to the national park and waterfalls and the customized fishing trip/sunset cruise to accommodate multiple interests. The house was great, Alex and team were fantastic helping to create one of our most relaxing and rejuvenating vacations to date.

Home is perfect for a large group or family. Spacious and well appointed. Concierge, Alex, helped us with restaurant suggestions prior to our stay, a snorkel & sunset outing, jet ski's and a fabulous dinner cooked in the home on our final evening.

After years being apart our family gathered for an overdue reunion. The house was perfect for our group of adults. The flow on the main floor from kitchen to pool to the sitting areas and out to the beach made everything easy. We barely left the property! The sunsets are stunning, especially sitting in the pool with a tropical cocktail in hand. The kitchen was big and well used - we cooked most of our meals. We strongly recommend Karen Andrade, who came in to cook for us one evening. She shared her family dishes with us - authentic CR and delicious. The beach is really swimable, so the ocean newbies felt very safe. A couple of notes. The three downstairs bedrooms are definitely darker and damper than the upstairs. Also, note that the property is run by a third party company. They were really great, but we did have some complications with the parallel financial systems with VRBO. I blame that more on VRBO though. Enjoy!

This property was very clean and the location was second to none! The access to the beach was wonderful and there were several restaurants and a grocery store in close proximity making meal choices convenient. There were six of us in our group, but the house could have easily accommodated 12. Our group really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool. Communication with Alexandra was great - she was extremely helpful and responded to our messages in a timely manner. Also, we appreciated having Marvin the caretaker on-site for any questions related to the house. Pura Vida!
