My partner and I recently had a wonderful stay at Victoria House. We were warmly greeted by Jan and she made us feel very welcome throughout. We also loved meeting her dogs, Oscar and Honey! The room was very comfortable and the house is in a great location. We used the regular local buses to visit nearby towns and to visit Snowdon. We had a great time in Caernarfon and if we visit again, we will certainly stay at Victoria House.

I don’t usually stay in bed & breakfasts but needed to due to the location of where I was working. Stunning place, super friendly host. They have thought of just about everything which you don’t get in chain hotels. Quality bedding and many little treats in the room. I didn't hear any noise from other guests and had a really good night's rest which was needed after a long drive. Will stay again without hesitation if in the area again. Thank you so much.

Wonderful quiet location in historic castle borders with roof terrace adjoined to old castle walls and perfect for exploring local town and further afield. We had plenty of bars/food options nearby. The bay is beautiful and our room very comfy and clean. The room is spacious enough and well fitted with everything you need and we slept soundly. Nice clean white modern bathroom suite with good shower and space. Really fantastic fluffy towels-we couldn’t have asked for more with Jan being super hospitable and helpful about recommendations in the area.

Victoria house is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the balcony room. The view is fabulous. Jan is an excellent host.

The best BnB I’ve ever stayed at. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room beautifully presented, the hostesses couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcomed and the location, close to the castle, within the medieval town walls was incredible.

Jan was a brilliant host and the property was beautiful and immaculate. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

As soon as i rang the bell and saw Jan...she made us welcome...she even moved her car so that i could park mine plus she carried my partners luggage.... The room was fantastic...it was big...it was very clean also it smelt clean....plus there was a bottle of beer plus a bottle of prosecco for kate We will be back here nxt year...thank you Jan for a lovely stay.....we will recommend your b&b anytime 😊

The best.

Everything spot on at this B&B. Better than most hotels we’ve stayed in. Comfortable bed, fridge, even a microwave if you choose to use. I could go on but other reviews share the same experience. Especially liked choice at breakfast, anything you want basically. Thanks Jan for making us welcome

Brilliant B & B, just a short walk into town. All staff were very friendly , and we enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning.We liked the midday check-in, and especially the complimentary wine that was provided, which we drank watching the sunset on the terrace, at the back.[We had brilliant weather during our stay]. Very kindly washed my coat for me, at no extra charge, after it fell into the sea ! Bear in mind, there are 2 dogs that are in the property, for those who don't like dogs, but they were well behaved.

Very pleasent stay. The staff were attentive and polite. Bedroom had all the facilities you could need.

The hosts at this B&B cannot do enough for you and the quality of what they provide is exceptional. The breakfasts were wonderful and the rooms so well equipped with mini fridge, wide screen TV, chocolate treats and even a microwave if you want to grab a take out. Location is great for exploring Caernarfon and if your visiting you need to stay at the Victoria House B&B!!

A lovely stay at this B&B within the city walls of Caernarfon. Enjoyed an evening supper on the walls balcony - stunning - unfortunately one downside of stay - both times went to the walls balcony had to avoid dog excreta

Only stayed here one night but would have certainly stayed longer. Great location, very friendly staff and very nice breakfast in the morning with lots of food. We had a great stay!

My partner and I decided at short notice to climb Mount Snowdon on Nee Years Eve for Midnight so needed somewhere close to stay. The hotel was in a great location for this and was in a beautiful little town. Although the hotel parking spaces were full we found a cheap car park a minute walk away. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were lovely and accommodating. I’ve never been anywhere so organised and welcoming! We were shown to our lovely room with sweet amenities and shown a folder with information of the hotel, the area, recommendations, the works! The staff really went above and beyond allowing us to have a later breakfast if we needed after our climb and happy with us arriving back early hours of the morning. The breakfast was delicious and we ended up going into the little town to buy some more of the cheese we had at breakfast it was that good! The stay really felt like a home away from home so quickly and we wish we had booked to stay longer! We’re hoping to climb Mount Snowdon again and if we do we will definitely be booking to stay here again!
