We had the deluxe sea view (room 2). It was very nice and spacious with a large bay window and a settee to look out to sea. It was a reasonable price and much better than some other more expensive hotel rooms. Yes..it was room only rate but you had breakfast places across the road and 100 yards down the sea front at the pier plus shops in the small town just a few mins walking distance. Free Parking on the road outside might be a problem but we found a space always just outside or a few yards from the property. The only down side was a very small on suite bathroom but it was no major problem. Very clean and well maintained property that i would gladly recommend!

Amazing beautiful room…..very clean and comfortable and awesome view of the ocean. I can highly recommend and will definitely choose Bon Ami and the same room on future visits to Lowestoft.

No frills comfort in this value-for-money guest house. Very clean room and bathroom, and prompt and efficient response from owners when we needed anything. Can't really fault it at the price. Tea service a nice touch. Excellent location right on the seafront. A good night's sleep. Recommended

Nice room with sea view, up 2 flights of stairs. Ensuite was very, very small but OK for 2 nights. Take your own hairdryer. There was use of a lounge. Felt it was a bit odd not to see either of the owners while we were there.

Beautiful Victorian house, warm, fresh & welcoming with beach views (selected rooms). Close to supermarket (Co Op), pubs(Plough & Sail especially friendly), The Chippy. Highly Recommend

My husband and I had a lovely bright and airy room with the best sea view. Understand we were the last guests as the owners are retiring. Bon Ami will continue as a B&B under new management. Hopefully they will be as good as Julie & Barry.

Lovely hosts in a quaint little b&b on the sea front! Only complaint was the tiny bathroom which was a struggle to manoeuvre in being a bigger guy (but that’s a me problem not the hosts!) Lovely hotel, lovely owners, and 100m from the beach. Lovely!

Excellent sray beautiful room great view right on the seafront. The owners could not do enough for you would highly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely little guest house set right on the seafront, staff very friendly, had everything you could need including sockets with usb charging options, rooms were very spacious and comfortable

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly couple and fantastic breakfast.

Barry and Julie were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Minor items, such as a broken bulb and curtain issue were taken care of very promptly. Please pay cash when you stay, as Bon Ami gets charged for card use, which is not fair on the property.

We spent two nights at this guest house Barry & Julie the owners were very nice friendly welcoming and helpful, they keep everything spotless our room was very comfy and we enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast with a great choice, Thanks to you both.

I loved this place. The room was excellent, I was upgraded to a large room. The hosts are lovely people, great to have a hat with. Breakfast was delicious and you could order what you wanted. People with allergies were taken into account. A small thing but the bed linen was so comfortable. I will stay here again.
