Great location. Great value for money. Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool was cold and couldn’t find the hot tub listed in the facilities on hotels.com.

Breakfast was expensive. Better options near hotel.

Central location close to museums and Theater Basel

The hotel says air conditioning but it would not keep up with the room and we had to get a fan, which didnt help that much. They didnt clean the room for 3 days. The soap dispensers were out so we removed them and took the lids and placed on floor of shower so they would refill. They put a new mat in shower and didnt fill the dispensers. Just left them on the floor. I complained and they gave me a free drink coupon that the bar then refused to accept. Ask to see a manager and they said they would send one up, but never came. Got hold of manager after demanding at check out snd showed her how dirty our room was.. she was apologetic but i had to demand to see her. I stay at Radisson Blu often but this was a horrible experience. I'm going hope that this was a one off experience, but really bad considering the price. Now the good... location is great for site seeing. Easy pick up area for drivers. Easy walk to market area for food and shops. I tried to add pictures of our room but it would not let me.

Our first floor room was noisy with all the traffic below but otherwise, excellent stay.

On the advertising listing. The hotel clearly stated that it has Air conditioning. The hotel does not have Air Conditioning, it has a ventilation system. It’s a very warm hotel especially in that summer months.

Below average rooms with horrible beds and air conditioners that did not work. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was pretty good. The lobby is good and the hotel is in a decent area.

No Expedia perks! Changed rooms 3 times in 24 hours. First one too noisy from the elevator. Second one too hot, ventilation wasn’t working and felt like a sauna, shower was flooding. Third room…

Room was stuffy; never really cooled down despite leaving window open all night. Told at check-in that breakfast was included, but received a $64 charge for the breakfast buffet for 2.

Our stay was very comfortable, even after having to change rooms. We had to change rooms because there wasn't a bathe tub for our baby to have a bathe, instead there was a shower. I suggested having a few bathe tubs from a local store that could've easily fit in the shower, to stop the inconvenience of having to change rooms. Overall, our stay was very pleasing and we enjoyed the hospitality and catering. The team was good all round. Like a very oiled engine, they all worked really well. BZ

Starting with the positives it’s a great location in the centre of Basel and the breakfast is truly exceptional. However, the rooms are very small, bathrooms are especially tiny. The refrigerator didn’t work my entire stay despite asking for a repair. TV didn’t seem to work for English channels- apparently there is something wrong with the satellite. Plenty of other hotels to choose from in Basel.

Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.. We had issues with hot water but although it was inconvenient to change rooms it was resolved promptly.. Close to major eating area. Tram to station from front door.

I really wanted to rate this hotel higher but the two nights we stayed there, the Air-Conditioning was not working properly. Initially, I thought it was just our room, but as I opened the window for air, I noticed a lot of other guests did the same. The hotel is so clean and well maintained, it’s a shame the A/C situation is something beyond the staff’s control. Other than that, we thought the staff was wonderful and a lot of them are multilingual and it was nice that they are able to cater to international guests. Hotel is so convenient to everything is close to Basel’s old town.

Really bad. A hotel that aims to be 4 star and A. Air conditioning not working B. Safe broken C. Curtain broken And when I told the receptionist, the answer was that they had no technician and nobody offered a solution. Not even the management tried to connect to us. Stay way from this place.

The Staff was very kind. We were arriving late but that was no problem, so that is great when you travel with the car. The hotel was beautifull. Nice rooms and clean!

Disappointing standard for a Radisson Blu. Staff were lovely as was spa area. Rooms scruffy and could be cleaner.

Great breakfast, staff friendly, good pool n facilities. Asked for a quiet room and was put next to lift and stairs, so didn’t sleep well. Was told it was a quiet room when checking in, was then advised it was because people were there celebrating so only room. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary- not sure what make some people more special? That said, room was lovely, staff friendly and breakfast good. Great location. Like the hotel doesn’t use single use shampoo bottles.

Nice room ...but lighting was poor ....so many lights but few bright enough even to read by. Toilet quite small ...good job we were too!
