Our visit to Alpenblick Bern was a very pleasant surprise that we intend to revisit in the future. The staff and accommodations were outstanding and individual touches like coffee, snacks, and laundry on site were huge in allowing us to travel lightly but comfortably. We loved our visit to Switzerland and highly recommend Alpenblick Bern to anyone looking to visit Bern in the future!

Fantastic place to stay. Appears to have been refurbished recently as everything was new. Very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking garage underneath was very useful. Slightly out of the centre but we had bikes so ideal for us.

Schönes Hotel

We stopped to see Bern. The hotel was within walking distance to the old town. Bern is very expensive and this was one of the more moderate priced hotels relative to others in the city.

Perfect hotel close to the center. Everything was perfect, clean, the staff was friendly. They have good parking spaces.

I loved the staff, the library, the garden, the room, the restaurant, and the neighborhood! Tabitha greeted us with such enthusiasm and grace when we checked in.

The bath room need an update

Receptionist was gracious and very helpful. Hotel restaurant was closed on weekend. Best night sleep since I got to Switzerland.

Excellent experience. Modern, functional and friendly. Particularly the staff at the front desk are very helpful. Location is in a quite place accessible by bus from the main train station.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with large windows but no a/c. There was a fan in the room as the month of July 2019 was very hot in Switzerland. The amenities offered were pretty limited. The hotel was located in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to local transit. The hôtel restaurant was excellent.

Very nice hotel and the staff were fantastic. Our only complaint was the comfort of the pull out couch bed. It was pretty awful.

I loved my experience in this Hotel. Staff very friendly, cool and polite.The breakfast is very good and this area is good.The bedroom is simple but at the same time good, I would like to come back to Berna and I hope to stay one more time on this Hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet area, opposite a park. It has helpful reception staff and a very useful information folder in the room. The room was modern with a good amount of space to store clothes. In-room safe. There is also a nice library area and hairdressers. Good breakfast. Lift to all floors. Only a 3-4 minute flat walk to the nearby tram stop, which is next to a supermarket. The number 9 tram only takes 5 minutes to reach the centre and goes direct to the main station in 10 minutes. A 5 minute walk to the rose garden viewpoint (some steps). Overall clean, comfortable and convenient.

Hotel in a great neighbourhood location in Bern. Staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Our room on the fourth floor was consistently hot despite the radiators being off. We tried sleeping with the windows open but there was too much noise in the morning so if you are not an early riser you might want to ask for a fan in summer. Some of the basics were not covered, like tea and coffee in the room, and the safe with the 200CHF key deposit is not modern or user friendly. Overlooking those things, the beehive is a great idea and the restaurant was also good. Would recommend the hotel but think there is always room to improve:-)

Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here. Initially, I was concerned that it was not in the heart of the city, but Bern is a small city and the hotel is walking distance to the old town. Not only that but the tram is very close by for those who prefer to ride.

Hotel Alpenblick is in a great location - an easy tram ride from Bern city centre and on a quiet side street. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful and very understanding of our almost non-existent German. (They all spoke several languages.) The room was a decent size with all the necessary basics. The room was very hot when we arrived, but we turned off the radiators and opened the windows (I hate hotel where you can't open the windows!) and all was fine in a few minutes. The hotel is quirky and fun. We ate our very good takeout pizzas from Grotto Ticino in the loungue on two nights and they were pleased to get us whatever we needed - cutlery, wine glasses, napkins. This is a lovely and reasonably priced (for Switzerland) place to stay when in Bern.

We LOVED the Hotel Alpenblick. The decor is fabulous, the staff is very friendly (especially Michelle & Anika!) and the room was very spacious and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed every minute at the hotel and would love to visit again. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

Overall a pleasant experience, staff was accommodating. We were unaware that the hotel had no airconditioning, but the hotel promptly provided us with a ventilator and gave us a room on a higher floor. Location was a little far from the old town(25 mins by walk) but near to the Rosengarten. Breakfast spread was decent. Restaurant serves good dinner as well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Little Restaurants in walking distance. Public transportation in Bern is excellent. Walked a lot but also used trains and trams.
