It was spacious.

Overall okay, with a few bumps. First, the listing states that the "Kids Den" on the lower level has a full kitchen. It does not. The Fridge and the dishwasher do not work, and they know these appliances don't work, yet the listing clearly states a full kitchen is available. Secondly, the listing states two fireplaces are available, one upstairs in the den and one downstairs in the Kids Den. Nope, the lower level fireplace is not in operation. So, two things listed are simply not valid. While we didn't really care about the extra fireplace not working, our family of 10 was counting on the extra fridge in the lower level, since we were there for 6 days and nights, so that was a let down. Local Vacasa staff did step in and handle a couple of the other issues, one being the dishwasher on the main floor was leaking and they sent out a staff member who fixed it. Also fixed some lighting that was out, over the range and over the countertops, and those were handy to have for food prep for our large group. There is a jazzuci tub in the master bath, but you would need a ladder to get in and out of it, it is sunken into the floor. No chance we even attempted it as senior citizens, but our young grandkids thought it was fun. Why there is a queen bed in the master but two kings in the upstairs bedrooms is just odd. Lastly this is in the mountain area, and the roads are steep and windy, and the driveway is very steep too. Parking is a puzzle, but workable.

This was perfect for 3 couples! Great base for visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains in the fall!

This is a very comfortable, spacious house. We loved the big TV with super picture quality and the comfortable seating in the living room. We loved the separate dining room and big dining table for puzzles and crafts. Only 3 suggestions: a king bed instead of queen in the master bedroom (plenty of room for it), access to networks/local channels, and the only thing lacking on the lowest level is a bed. We have been regular visitors to the Ellijay area, and really enjoyed our stay here.
