Lovely friendly hotel

Perfect place for a winter retreat. Particularly loved the cosy fire and lovely food. Definitely on the list to stay again.

Loved this place. I pass thro the Cotswolds every few months to see my mum and usually try and stay a night on my way back. I’ve had some pretty hit n miss stays In other supposedly “boutique” venues - and had almost given up hope This stay has renewed my faith - beautifully furnished in a truly contemporary and quirky way - interesting mix of artworks - amazing food - friendly but not over bearing service So totally my style and taste and I will def make it my go to in future

Super cosy and wonderful -- great little touches, cosy robes and slippers... wonderful decor. Charming and off-the-grid type of staycation.

The pub and Inn were so lovely , clean and comfortable! The staff , particularly Sorin and Amy took care of us like family when we were stranded due to car problems. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and the food is delicious . There are lovely walks and a beautiful medieval church nearby for exploring. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the UK.

Very comfortable. Beautiful bedlinen. Clean bathroom with powerful shower and toiletries plentiful and smelt amazing. Room very well equipped including a phone charged, which was very necessary seeing as I had left mine behind.

Beautiful property and delicious food

Really lovely place. Great fish and chips! Very friendly and pleasant staff. I think maybe breakfast could be included for the price of the suites.

Stayed in the barn suite for 2 nights with my wife & dog. Within minutes of getting in the room our dog had found a pair of worn women’s underwear which obviously wasn’t our. Top of wardrobe covered in dust & alot of cobwebs. I understand the room is meant to be rustic but not unclean. The room has a log burner but was only supplied with enough kindling to light one fire, when I asked for more they said had ran out with shrug of the shoulders. The dog bowl supplied had a crack in it & the dog bed clearly hadn’t been washed before our stay. On a plus side the pub is cosy with good food.

I had such a wonderful stay at The Artist Residence. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the thoughtful in room touches much appreciated. I look forward to being back again soon!

Perfect location for all the reasons I like to get away for…beautiful unique

We are so glad to have found this place for a night. We arrived at evening and immediately welcomed by Luis and his team at the restaurant for a smooth check in. The room is like a cottage/ barn/ farm house with all the things you need. Only thing is the coffee capsules are so fragile and they got smashed once you try to make an espresso. Restaurant was warm and cozy. Food is excellent with reasonable price (only option in the area). This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience, both humans and the dog enjoyed it very much! Restaurant is cozy and warm and everyone was so friendly

Loved it here! The staff were super friendly. The food was very yummy. The hotel itself was gorgeous and we loved our stay in the wagon.

Lovely and thoughtful stay in the shepherds hut

We had an incredible stay at the Residence, our room was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in & we didn’t want to leave the room it was that good. The service & food was also excellent. Thank you

This is one of the most exceptional places I have ever stayed! The contemporary style and decor complement the traditional architecture to create a very unique setting. The service, amenities, food, and drink were all incredible. The location is very peaceful and beautiful, and the Artist Residence provides bikes and rainboots in order to explore it. We never wanted to leave!

Cozy, artistic and original. The pre-industrial cottage style setting really makes guests feel relaxed. The food quality and service level are beyond my expectation too.

Everything about this place is amazing! Beautiful thatched country pub and hotel. Rooms are decorated superbly. Everything you could need is provided....amazing products, umbrella, hairdryer, adapters, cookies and water. Really comfy bed and pillows. Cutest little pub and restaurant. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Staff also really friendly!

We were upgraded on our arrival. Room was good with lots of character. Good extras like fresh milk not long life. Bathroom facilities very good with lovely toiletries. Food very good.

Lovely place drink eat and stay for a short break

Overall a very pleasant stay in the Shepard’s hut, very quirky and well equipped with bathrobes, mini bar etc but we felt that because of the size of the cabin 2 nights would be the maximum we would stay. My only reservation is the lack of choice on the restaurant menu and the internet kept coming and going and in Shepard’s hut we had no internet at all.

Staff is very friendly. We were in the shepherd hut: clean, cosy and good looking. Great experience!
