Wonderful, magical space. Piqueros: Perfect room for our extended stay with two kids-10yo daughter and 13yo son. The owners are amazing. Connected us to a tour company to plan our stay before we arrived. The owners arranged our airport picks-tour of the highlands/turtles on the way in. The driver delivered our bags while we feasted, learned about the turtles and explored the highlands. Totally recommend. The breakfast were fresh and wonderful. Two block walk to all the restaurants and very close to port-completely recommend!

Juan Carlos and Elvira were delightful hosts and made our stay unforgettable. They went out if their way to make sure everything was perfect. Their restaurant suggestions made our trip, not only a wildlife paradise exploration but a culinary experience that made our time in Puerto Ayora most enjoyable. I will definitely return and most certainly recommend this lovely hotel! ❣️

Absolutely fabulous stay! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hosts felt like family. They made us fresh breakfast every day and had awesome recommendations for the island. I would only stay here every time I come back to the Galapagos. The hotel was an oasis from the town, it was quiet and offered a nice pool to cool down in after a day of activities. The hosts could not have been more helpful; they connected us with transportation, activities, restaurants, and even medical care. Always available, informative, and we’re always looking out for me. They supplied lots of free safe drinking water, and our room even had a fridge. The inn itself is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and in an excellent location in Puerto Ayora. We could walk to everything.
By far one of the best hotels I've ever been privileged enough to stay at. The gorgeous building, beautiful colors, and breathtaking interior have a wow factor!
They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, and they are so warm and attentive! Their recommendations helped make my first time in the Galapagos unforgettable.

It is a small hotel on a quiet street but easy walking to all the highlights in town.

This was a delightful place to stay and we are extremely pleased we chose it for our 2 weeks in Puerto Ayora. Elvira and Juan Carlos were the best hosts one could ever ask for. I Can think of nothing to critisise the Inn or staff about. It was so quiet, comfortable and hassle-free staying there. We had some lovely chats with both our hosts during our stay. If we ever return to the island we will automatically be staying with them again.

Family of four spent 3 nights 4 days and were very comfortable. Very convenient and clean from white towels and linens, to the most friendliest staff you will ever get at a hotel. The breakfasts set us up for the day, kids were happy! Air conditioner worked great. The owner had thought of everything—- hair dryer, clothes zip line to hang wet bathing suits, beach towels ( you will need to ask the staff for them). We highly recommend booking your stay here!

My second time of staying at Maidith Inn. It is a uniquely beautiful hotel, Juan is an excellent, welcoming host, nothing too much trouble for him, explaining the area, places of interest. I would highly recomend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure to spend three nights at the Maidith Galapagos Inn. The property is beautifully decorated and has a nice little pool. The location was very convenient and was a short walk to restaurants, shops, the ferry terminal and the Charles Darwin Center. Our room was clean and well appointed: filled with the thoughtful touches that make traveling life much easier (power outlets built in to the bedside lamps, clothesline in the shower, etc…). Juan Carlos, the manager, was amazing! He gave us many useful tips on how to navigate the island, great restaurant recommendations and helpful advice on which activities to do. Also, he went above and beyond to try to help us locate a non locally available cream for my son’s eczema. He is truly a gem and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. In short, this is a great property to stay on if you are spending time in Santa Cruz!

Maidith is such a wonderful hotel. It is very cute and clean. The owner Juan Carlos was a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating and always available to help out and recommends restaurants or excursions. Lourdes and Shisela were wonderful. They always made such a delicious breakfast and were so sweet. I definitely recommend Maidith as a place to stay.

My family of five truly enjoyed our stay at the Maidith Galápagos Inn. The service was top tier and the owner went above and beyond to ensure we were treated like family. Wonderful amenities and within walking distance to most things.

We had a great stay at the Maidith for 4 nights in March. The hotel is an interesting piece of architecture that according to the owner's son is inspired by Gaudi, Santorini and the whimsy of his mother. It is well maintained and well located in a quieter section of Puerto Ayora , just a block or two from Darwin Ave. Juan Carlos couldn't have been more delightful and helpful. He had great diinner recommendations, information on the area and even medication for stomach troubles. Great breakfast. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Juan Carlos (the owner) was so friendly and professional and allowed us to check in very early (around 9:30am). He talked us through everything and gave us recommendations for food, ferries, and things to do. He also helped us set up a reliable taxi on 2 different occasions. His staff was kind and helpful as well. The breakfast was plentiful and the rooms were beautiful. Clean, eco-friendly, and equipped with everything we could need. This stay was a 10/10 and we can not possibly recommend this hotel more. The location was close to everything we needed and Juan Carlos and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this property.

We loved the "boutique" look and feel of Maidith Galapagos Inn. Juan Carlos was so helpful and hospitable offering advice and recommendations, making taxi reservations, etc. The room and premises were clean and well maintained. Everything we wanted to do was within a 20 minute walk. We walked to the beaches at the Charles Darwin Research Center, to the pier where you catch the water taxi to Tortuga Bay Beach, the fish market, and many shops and restaurants. I would certainly come back!

Best Bang for your Buck in Galapagos Islands!!! The owner/manager was superhuman. So thoughtful and helpful! He and his staff went far above and beyond in making our stay memorable and comfortable. When i got sick, they even brought me medicine that helped me recover quickly. I strongly recommend Maidith Galapagos Inn.

Wow! like most of you out there we selected this hotel based on rating and reviews. Boy are we glad we did. This quaint hotel is the perfect mix of luxury and charm. It is located on a quiet street that is less than 5 minute walk to everything you could want. All of the staff, especially Juan Carlos the owner/manager, went far above and beyond to make us feel special. Breakfast each morning was prepared for us and every meal was better than the last. In short, you won't regret choosing the Maidith Galapagos Inn.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very close to everything like restaurants, groceries, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, great little pool and excellent customer service! This place was the most amazing and the whole area is so safe. It is sad that America has sent such a travel warning and this place is getting so many cancellations and you are a flight away from even anything even somewhat sketchy… this is like Mayberry please stop cancelling

Juan, the owner of Maidith Galapagos Inn was a superb host and so too were the wonderful staff. I'd travelled for nearly 48 hour from UK to Puerto Ayora solo and was extremely tired. Juan and the staff gave me such a warm and friendly welcome when I arrived at their beautiful, quirky, unique hotel making me feel at home going over and beyond. Breakfast was fabulous home prepared. Thank you Juan and staff for a memorable stay 😃

Unbelievably great experience. Juan Carlos is excellent at running the place and taking care of your needs, taxis, restaurants, tours etc. The place was spotless, patterned after Gaudi, to me this is a hotel. WiFi is great, breakfast great, he has refreshments to purchase, free water for filling water bottles, clean hot tub, lighting in courtyard nice. Great quiet locations 5 minute walk from town

This small little hotel is a beauty. The rooms are perfect. The oasis in the middle where you can cool off in a little pool or eat you breakfast in the morning just makes you happy. The host Juan Carlos is the best and every recommendation he gave was terrific for our very short stay in Santa Cruz. Thank you.

My stay at Maidith was absolutely amazing. We were treated as family. From the owners to the staff, they went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had a great time.
They are ready to assist you with anything you need.

Maidith Galapagos Inn is a unique and spectacularly kept island retreat. We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the gorgeous stained glass, carved wooden details, and colorful mosaics of the inn's design. We appreciated the variety of bountiful breakfasts, and especially enjoyed the pineapple jam. The pool was perfect after a day of siteseeing and snorkeling. Elvira and Juan Carlos took excellent care in communicating and helping us plan things that our group would enjoy. They set up drivers, walked us to specific tour guide sites, and always wanted our feedback in order to help others. This place is a gem in Santa Cruz in every way!

The owners are the most wonderful people in the world. The took care of us from start to finish without a flaw. Always made sure we had everything we needed including transportation to and from the port and the airport. The rooms are huge, beautiful and impeccably cleaned. The Location is perfect. Close to everything but still in a quiet street. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to come with their family to the Galapagos. 5 Stars with 5 star service.

The owners Juan Carlos and Elvira are the most friendly and helpful persons I have ever met. They assisted us with all our logistics for a group of 16 people without a single flaw. Including 3 amazing birthday cakes an restaurant reservations to all the best restaurants with perfect tables and personal touches. I would always recommend this hotel to all my friends without any reservation

I do not think I can say enough positive things about our stay at the Maidith Galapagos Inn. When we arrived Juan Carlos and his friendly staff warmly greeted us. The hotel is impeccably kept, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We felt so welcomed and they made sure all our needs for our stay were met. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The Maidith Galapagos Inn is a true example of excellent hospitality. After my very stressful ordeal from Quito airport, all I want is to get straight to the hotel and just relax. When I arrived in Galapagos, I was greeted with very warm welcome by the owners Juan Carlos and Elvira. They took me to my room and they make sure that I am comfortable. When I settled in, I went back to see them and I asked about the tours. Due to circumstances, I cannot swim so I can only do a land tour. They suggested about Seymour Island and I am glad I did it. They also suggested good restaurants and they also gave me a coupon for discount! lol. They make you feel at home and always asking how's my day going and they make sure that I am ok and enjoying my stay in Galapagos. Thank goodness that I chose to stay here because I was able to relax and enjoying one of their hammock just outside my room or just dipping in their mini-pool which is very soothing. I can't thank them enough and I wish I could stay longer. I am definitely coming back here and will make sure to stay longer (maybe a week?). Also the Inn is very walkable to the town and very safe.

Wonderful hotel! The rooms and common areas are very comfortable & beautifully decorated, the location is very quiet but convenient to everything, the included breakfasts are delicious and varied and the owners are exceptionally nice, helpful and fluent in English. They even kindly bought & left a dessert for us in our fridge, that we had told them we were trying to find in town. Highly recommend!

Good location in town, near the beach and the restaurants. The hotel is clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. Juan made us feel comfortable with breakfasts and help with our tours. This made our trip to Galapagos enjoyable.
