The view from the front of the property was excellent. The bed linen and towels were high quality and very clean. The location was excellent for walkers and a short walk to a lovely village where a pub serving meals and other eateries were to be found.

There was a small breakfast bar in the kitchen with space for 2 people, however there was no dining table in the lounge or even a coffee table. As the property was for 5 people this made eating indoors difficult. Coasters to protect upstairs furniture need to be provided as had to fold tissues on bedside table to stand drink on. There was already a cup stain on one of the bedside cabinets.

Location, parking, decor and facilities

Sofa was small and uncomfortable. Not enough seating area for everyone

Good location: quiet road, good starting point for excursions in the wider area. Modern house, all clean and new, nice soft carpets, comfy sofa, room for five people to sleep. Fully equipped kitchen, two modern bathrooms.

Initially, there was no reply from the host, which was a bit puzzling. The keycode to the key safe was wrong, but this was quickly sorted by a phone call. Despite two double beds and a single bed (i.e. 5 people could stay), the cutlery and crockery in the kitchen was only for four people. No outdoor furniture on the terrace.
