Lovely hotel in great location on the beach. Only a short walk from town (5-10 mins) which means it is peaceful at night. Staff are lovely, breakfast is simple (eggs, fruit, pancakes). Great spa treatments available, my massage was lovely! WiFi is ok, slow but fine. I’d recommend this hotel. It’s also very family friendly!

It was an amazing stay, only a short walk from the centre of town and that means in was quiet. (Town is busy all day long). Located just by the beach, only downside no umbrellas at the beach.

Great time with family

Casa Iguana offers a great structure in Holbox. Their rooms are spacious, comfortable for a good night sleep. They aso have a great restaurant in their facilities and offer beach chairs.

Hotel is fine, breakfast buffet mediocre, restaurant personnel so so. Was expecting higher quality food.

The hotel has a good location! Further out from the central, so it is quiet, however the soundproofing is not good, we could hear every little noise from the street. The design of the room is nice and simple, and it is clean. Our check-in experience was not very nice. The staff seemed to be annoyed, that we arrived late, after 9pm. The WIFI was not working very well. The breakfast was bad. There was no option for vegans. The fruits were taken by the time I wanted to have some. I have asked if they has soy milk or anything for me, but my question has been ignored completely. So I had toast with jam for £170 a night. For this price, you would expect a much better service. :(

Perfect beachside location with one of the prettiest beach areas on the island. We had no trouble getting a palapa or loungers any day. The food is excellent at the restaurant and don't forget to try the Mezcalita cocktail. Rooms 12 and 14 are the closest to the beach!

A great place except for the barking resident 3 dogs. If they can fix that it would get a 5/5 rating from me.

This was the second time visiting Holbox but first at Casa Iguana. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I was on the second floor and had a small balcony with hammocks. Hotel is only a 10-minute walk to the town square and just a few steps from the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a gem of a small boutique hotel on the beach. It is beautifully designed with gorgeous bathrooms, two cold pools (which I happen to covet) and a great casual friendly restaurant. All the hotels on this North side of the town are separated by a “road” between their sandy fronts and the actual ocean but it’s a very casually trafficked road with the occasional golf cart, bike, or motorcycle. The breakfasts are great with made-to-order egg dishes and freshly squeezed juices varied daily. I would definitely return to this hotel, and I’m a picky hotel person.

Rooms were really clean and new. Erica at front desk was great and Miguel helped us out when ever we needed something. Ana was a wonderful server at the restaurant. Would be nice if you could charge meals at restaurant to room, but I can see that with prepaid rooms that can be an issue.

Nice hotel, owners have barking dogs, complained and staff said that owner gone not returning for a day...very unhappy about the fact that even after owner returned it continued. Our room was very near, daytime and night time barking.
