Great location for Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest. Our bathroom had a barn style slider that was hard to move. Called housekeeping which arrived within a couple of minutes and fixed the door. It was a great response to our problem that they resolved quickly. I would stay here again. They also gave us a 15% off coupon to Logan’s Roadhouse that we used.

One of the best breakfast we had in long time. Property is located in a very nice place.

The beds were comfortable and the area was convenient to our travels and places we needed to go. The staff seemed to be grumpy for the most part, not all that friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was as expected but okay. The last day nearly everything was out and the young lady who staffed the breakfast did her best to keep up. No pancake batter, only low-cal syrup, the sausage was undercooked so was there for the next three breakfasts, out of coffee. I think she was just overwhelmed and needed some help to keep up.

My bathroom had missing hooks on the wall to hang clothing. You could see where they used to be by the missing paint on the walls. My bathtub was not clean and had mold in corners. The carpet was stained in two different places. I did not take off my shoes . The carpet looked that dirty. I was extremely surprised by the condition of the room. I expected better.

Great stay!

This property was pet friendly, that's why we chose it. The place was very clean and updated. The bathrooms were very nice and the beds very comfortable. The room was a little smelly. But we dealt with it. We had a dog. Loved that we had free breakfast which was very good. The property outside was a little messy, and busy. Lots of shopping that was walkable, and lots of food options.

Super clean and new hotel with very friendly and kind staff who went above and beyond to make the stay very pleasant. Located right off the highway and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. Best part is the indoor pool and EV charging stations.

Manager is great

Everything was great except for the check-in. Due to a large fire several miles away, there were about 30 firefighters in the lobby waiting to get rooms which was no fault of the hotel staff. However, we would have appreciated an update from the staff as to the status of when we could check-in as we had made reservations ahead of time. We did not get one update in 2.5 hours of waiting in the lobby. After they figured out the reservations for everyone else, they checked us in which only took a minute because we already had a reservation with all of our information included. If they weren’t going to take care of us for hours, they should have told us it would be a long time and they could text us when they could give us service. This was not our first stay at this hotel and we will stay again, but you should put a protocol in place for unusual circumstances like this.

I met up with my sister, who was also staying at the property. Our father passed away . I live in Oregon, my sister lives in Missouri, but we were born and raised in Chico. We were in Chico to help setttle Dad's affairs. Pete helped with Check -In. Pete expressed his condolences and found a way to get our rooms on the same floor and pretty close to each other. So, a Big Thanks to Pete !!

Very convenient location

Nice clean hotel but the beds are very uncomfortable. I can’t sleep on them without my back hurting. They really need to upgrade them.

The hotel says pet friendly but will make you stay on the first or second floor if you bring a pet and still charge you the pet deposit. I don’t mind paying the pet deposit but this was the first time I have ever been told I can’t have an upper floor because I brought a pet. Stayed at a Sheraton the next night and they had no issue with letting me have an upper floor while bringing a pet. They put us next to the laundry room where the maids go in at 6am and slam the doors shut. So kept getting woke up.

I always like Hampton Inn and suites, i like everything there from the staff and the place, clean and safe. Thats why I always come back to that hotel if possible. Pete one of the receptionist is very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Keep it up Hampton Inn

I was excited to see a Peleton bike in the gym, however very disappointed that it was not connecting to the internet/network. Apparently this issue was previously reported but property was unable to have it fixed!
