Our apartment was truly delightful, spacious and spotlessly clean with breathtaking sea views. Nicely decorated, the bedrooms are lovely, each with their own doors to the terrace and there is a large communal terrace downstairs with sun loungers. The location is idyllic, though some steep climbs so not for those with mobility issues if you want to explore. There's a lovely 10th Century Church above the apartments and the bells chime in the background. There were essentials in the well equipped kitchen, including most vitally coffee, and toileteries in the bathroom. Many comfortable and very clean towels and linen. There's a michelin starred restaurant 1 min away where we had the most amazing breakfast with views all around. There's a well stocked shop nearby with pretty much everything you need plus local products and a pizzeria which we didn’t try but it looked nice. The host is so welcoming, he eaks perfect English and provided anything we needed, from bus tickets to laundry detergent. He also grows his own fruit and veg. The local buses are regular although sometimes full, there are also local taxi services. The steep roads are not for the faint hearted. It's 20 mins to Amalfi where there are boats to many places on the coast including Positano. We also discovered a local beach with a beach club which was really brilliant and worth the 400 steps from the road, with boat rides back to Amalfi included. I would highly recommend as a base for your visit to this beautiful area.

Leopoldo & Ida are outstanding hosts really LOVELY, they are very accommodating and go beyond what was expected. They have a wonderful place, spotlessly clean with amazing & beautiful view of the Mediterranean. Such a comfortable home you will want to stay for more than a week, has a great kitchen, air conditioned with heaps of other excellent facilities. Walking distance to shops and restaurants ( Bacco just 1min walk away is a must visit,) very close to transport to Amalifi shops and beaches. LOOKING FORWARD TO A RETURN VISIT ONE DAY!!

The view was amazing and easy to find

The location is excellent! You will find a supermarket, great restaurants and the bus stop nearby. The apartment is only 5km from Amalfi; however, the Panoramica Road is very narrow and can take up to 30 minutes to get there.
The apartment was spotless, and the check-in and check-out process was easy—perfect beds, blinds, and window shutters (if you like a dark room to sleep). The neighborhood is very safe and quiet at night. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was great to eat breakfast with that view from the Amalfi coast! There is also a parking spot available, which was very helpful.
Leopoldo was excellent, very communicative, and helpful with my questions before and during my stay.
I would definitely come back with my family.

The owners, Leopoldo and Ida were very accommodating and helpful. The property is high up, making it relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful views of Mediterranean sea. Only one restaurant close to apartment within 5 minutes walking (very expensive), however you can walk about 10 minutes down to a cute pizzeria and small supermarket or go to Agerola town which is about 25 to 30 minutes walking higher up or take bus, which is about 10 minutes. We rode the bus up and walked down, which was easy since it was down hill and took about 20 minutes. You can also go to Almafi, which is 30 minutes down on bus for many restaurants and shops. The way back from Almafi can be challenging if you take bus after 7 pm because many people trying go back to their hotels or rentals. And bus ride back from Almafi can take 40 minutes. The bus stop is close to apartment, less than 5 minute walk.

Leopoldo and Ida were the nicest hosts. We had an issue with no heat and they did everything they could to get it fixed. They did bring us space heaters which helped. We had a parking spot just off the road and right next to the apartment. There were 10 steps down to get to the apartment. That was a huge plus! Lots of places have far more steps than that! The apartment had been recently remodeled, Everything was so new. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept great. The apartment was immaculate. The bathroom was a good size with a washer in it too. The shower was a little small. Small showers seem to be the "norm" in Italy. The kitchen and patio views were just amazing. What a great balcony patio to sit and enjoy your coffee or wine and take in the amazing scenic water and mountain views. If we get the chance to go back to Furore on the Amalfi Coast, we would definately stay at one of their apartments. Thank you Leopoldo and Ida for helping make our stay so special.

The unit did not disappoint one bit. The view is spectacular. Location is central to everything along the Amalfi Coast. And, the hosts were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. (When Leopoldo was not able to pick us up at the train station during arrival day, he arranged for a close friend to be there!)
We could not have asked for more and truly look forward to returning...soon!

The property was of very good standard, with a wide range of household amenities and beautiful sea views covering 180 degrees from the balcony. The owners Leopold & Ida were very welcoming and helpful. Ida is always on hand should you need and Leopold speaks good English which helped greatly as my Italian is poor. Property has private parking and is located about 50 metres from the bus stop. If you like wine, Marisa Cuomo Winery / Vineyard is about 30 metres away, for those moments when you need another bottle of wine! It is just over 1 hour's drive to Sorrento, as well as Naples, and about 30 mins on the bus to Amalfi. Local amenities include 2 mini markets which stock virtually everything you would require, as well as a variety of restaurants ranging from pizzerias to fine dining (thoroughly recommend a wine pairing dinner at Bianca Zita Restaurant located 2 streets down, run by a local family who are brilliant). Thoroughly recommend this property and would stay again. Thank you very much Ida and Leopold.

My wife and I stayed in this location for 7 nights. This was our first trip to Amalfi coast. The home is sparkling clean , it has all the needed amenities , It is well kept and the view is out of this world. We had a kind reception at the airport by our host , and he gave us a mini tour of the area on the way driving us to the property which we found very helpful. Bus stop is a few steps from the property and in about 20 minutes you can be in the town of Amalfi. Taxi and car rental also are available if that is your preference. Grocery store is a few minutes walk. There are a few local restaurants around the property which are accessible by foot. We are very great-full to our host for enhancing our trip experience at the Amalfi coast

Clean and modern two bedroom apartment with spectacular sea and coastline views in Furore, above Amalfi. It's away from the hectic tourist area but only a short drive away. Your own private parking spot included which is difficult to find in the area. Also close to the local bus stop which takes you to Amalfi and connections to all the spots on the coast. A nice surprise was that Marissa Cuomo winery was literally 50 meters away. Some of the best wines in Amalfi at your door. Recommended.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time here. The apartment was clean and cool with a well stocked kitchen. We could walk to a small grocery store and restaurant. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Great spot, beautiful views, and great hosts! Leopold is easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Ida is very sweet but does not speak English, however, her smile speaks volumes. We will be back!

This was a first attempt at a week long double date with another empty-nesting couple so naturally, planning travel and accommodations took a little more research and angst. Needless to say, the hosts Leopoldo and Ida did not disappoint! Greeted by huge smiles at NAP airport by Ida, I felt the positive pulse of our stay already.
The terrain of the Amalfi Coast is stunning but not for the faint of heart. Unless you’re young and a thrill seeker, I would advise against car renting and take advantage of the city (SITA) buses: The bus drivers are amazing but close your eyes and perhaps bring your own barf bag (if cursed with motion sickness)...or work with the hosts?
Back to the villa: it’s amazing - no complaints, NOT A ONE - but also not giving anything else away. Experience the beauty of Italy for yourself; keeping in mind true beauty comes internally and from your interactions with others.
Oh so Hallmark-y (sorry-not sorry)... Relax and enjoy!

Our stay was fantastic in this apartment, lots of space for a family and relaxing spaces to go relax or sun tan. The owners were very helpful and friendly with our concerns also. The only downside about this place is the location and needing a car to drive around to all the other Coastal towns. We rented a car and seen some of the most beautiful scenic towns along the coast. I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Amalfi.

We had a fabulous stay at Calipso apartments. Leo organized for us to be picked up at the train station in Salerno, which was terrific. The apartment is in a beautiful location away from the touristy parts of Amalfi. It had everything you need for a great stay. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. A car is essential to stay here as we discovered. Even though the bus stop is opposite the front door it the bus is always crowded and doesn’t always stop to pick you up. It only runs hourly or so which can affect your daily plans. To book a taxi it is extremely expensive. Definitely recommend this stay with a car.

We loved our stay at Calipso Residence. The absolute selling point is the amazing terrace off the kitchen, with spectacular views of the country side and the Mediterranean Sea. The apartment is very modern, well-equipped and very clean. The pictures of the property does not really do it justice. There were four of us in the apartment and we found that we had plenty of room, particularly if you wanted a bit of alone time. An added bonus was the private parking spot that comes with the property. This was not something that we had thought about at the time of booking, but after spending four days traveling along the coast between Amalfi and Positano, you learn very quickly that parking is at a premium. On this note, a car is required. Furore is well situated and the property is easy to get to, but you need a vehicle to get around. A bus does service the area, but they did not seem to run on a regular schedule. We found the best way to travel along the coast was to drive to Amalfi, park at the Luna Rosa Parking Garage and take the boat to the different towns and villages along the coast.
We did not get a chance to meet Leopoldo, as he was away, but Ida was a very nice host and very attentive to our needs. Ida spoke little to English and we spoke no Italian, but she managed to orientate us to everything that the apartment had to offer, offer us the use of the spectacular patio that was one level down, and direct us to the local grocery store.
Overall we had a tremendous stay at Calipso Residence. This apartment is fantastic, our host was very accommodating and attentive, the location is excellent and the views are spectacular.
Thank you Ida and Leopoldo for making our stay very enjoyable and very memorable.

The owners were some of the kindest people we met on our journey. They were wonderful hosts and ambassadors for their community. They were extremely helpful, accommodating and very enjoyable to visit with. The apartment was fully equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view was beyond amazing. All the major rooms had doors to the balcony and even the bathroom had an ocean view. It's in a great location as you can walk, drive, or take a bus, ferry, or a combination to get wherever you want to go.
