Everything was perfect except for the organization of the buffet. The architect made a big mistake there. The aisle between the buffets is far too narrow. Hardly two people can cross each other. This is why there were various incidents. During our four-day stay, at least five things fell to the floor because the guests were bumping into each other. For us, this was an imposition. It's a shame, otherwise everything would have been perfect.

Very pretty and organic style hotel on beautiful grounds with wandering paths, koi pond and running brook. The staff was professional. The onsen was clean and the outside baths made for watching the sunset a real treat. Highly recommended! We will be back!

Couldn’t find our reservation and when they finally did, didn’t fix the issue properly so was an ongoing issue.
The door to the room wasn’t sealed properly so let air through and made a whistling noise.

Amazing dinner and brunch! The onsen was wonderful. The hotel is also walkable to a hot spring resort and to the Open Air museum. Highly recommend!

Lovely relaxing city. Hotel had a wonderful garden to walk. They offered a complimentary shuttle to the local train station which gave us easy access to the attractions we wanted to explore

Sleek, modern and beautiful, yet still accessible for families. Dinner was amazing with many Japanese delicacies, and the breakfast buffet was also wonderful. The private onsen for our family was worth the small fee. Across the street for the main onsen experience put this experience over the top.

Amazing stay ! The buffet was delicious and there is an onsen for men and another for women where you can relax. The room was clean and spacious. Service was great also.

We had great service from the manager. He went out of his way to help and advise us.
The hotel gives an immediate feeling of warmth. The garden at the back has a walking course in a wooded setting which is lovely for an early morning and evening stroll.
However the cafeteria is very noisy and there needs to be separation from all the children running around from the rest of us. The food is very varied and suits everyone’s tastes and needs. The spa area with private and public pools is welcoming and enjoyable

Hello, very bad experience of hotel. Staff people were very rude. They dont really speak english and they dont have any education.
Food is included but always so full that there are no possibilities to enter.
They wont let you take a 200 Yen umbrella nor sell you one even if the sky is falling down. I got all wet and my bags too.

The room was comfortable and pleasant. Parts of the room and the vent in the bathroom had some dust build up but didn't soil any of our belongings. The onsen water was hot and soothing. Breakfast was OK. I wish there was a larger variety of black tea options. The dinner buffet felt overpriced. I wasn't interested in drinking alcohol and felt I shouldn't have to pay for that. Some of the food had gone cold. I would stay here again if I was in Hakone.

It was super close to the Yunessun and there are a lot of choices for the dinner & breakfast buffet!!

We love the onsens in the hotel and that Yunessan is just next door. The room is clean and has lots of usb to charge our devices. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great with lots of variety and different options. We would definitely come back to this hotel the next time we visit Hakone.
