Modern and well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds.

This was a great location but the home is need of some tlc, general maintenance, paint, and ect but we mainly used the house to sleep so it worked fine for us. We spent much of our time on the beach or in St Augustine. The covered area under the house was missing the table pictured in the listing but we made due without. This was a great space to sit and escape the rain. The location was great being in close proximity to Publix, the beach, restaurant less than 3 mins away, and St Augustine. There were plenty of beds in the house. We only had 5 people and more than enough options for sleeping, there were three bedrooms and the one with bunk beds would be perfect for kids. Over all this is a good stay.

We loved staying here! Very clean, beautiful views, easy walk to the beach, and cozy atmosphere. One downside is that there is only one guest bathroom, besides the master, for others to use which can get packed with a large group. The amenities were well maintained. We also enjoyed the short drive to downtown St. Augustine.

Living area was nice

Location was great. Happy to wake up to ocean and easy access to beach right outside door. House is weathered and a bit run down - lots of chipped paint, broken railing on back porch. Bathroom door hard to close. Mattress protectors a bit noisy. White couch was comfy but definitely in need of a good cleaning for stains.

We rent about twice a year for last thirty years, usually OBX often Fl. Hands down the best kitchen in this price bracket/ rooms - phenomenal family room and SO well stocked - really good pans and quality stuff - no dinged dented uneven temp stuff here ! Bedrooms gorgeous walk to beach so easy decks stunning, water hot and plentiful - will book again. Only cons: if you had kids or pets beware: a deck stake post is loose/ out and has been ‘repaired’ with a leash !!! If I had a dog or toddler I would have mended that pronto ( but a quick fix with some rope / string) . also bathroom 2 had rotted wood at door bottom - not a deal breaker and not dangerous just means our adult kids did not close their bathroom internal door - honestly no biggie — rest of property pristine, welcoming sumptuous and pristine - you can’t go wrong ! And St Augustine was as good as brochures say - bottom line we loved our stay will repeat.

We just had a group of 10 women in their early 30s stay here for 3 nights, and it was perfect - a classic Florida beach house designed for guests to come in and out from the beach and lounge around. both St. Aug and south PV were easily accessible from A1A, but once in the house or on the beach you never heard or felt close to the highway. the beach and multiple decks made it easy to enjoy the weather when it was great, but we also felt safe and comfortable in the house when a tornado warning and heavy rain hit one afternoon. The group loved spending time together in the open kitchen/dining/living room (home entertainment center was very easy to use). Multiple people were also able to catch up on work with no issues thanks to the strong WiFi. We didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen and dining spaces worked well for both group breakfasts and individuals drifting in and out for drinks and snacks. My only worry going in were putting grown women in bunk beds - not a fault of the property as we knew the room set ups from the post, but knew there was a risk the bunk beds would be designed for kids. However, the bunks comfortably fit adults - guests of all heights had no issue getting in or out of them and found them very comfortable. We also had no trouble sharing two bathrooms. TLDR the house and location were perfect for a casual girls get-away before even taking price into account (which really made this a steal). Cannot thank the hosts enough or recommend this stay to future guests who want a peaceful trip on the North Florida coast.

The property is right on the ocean with view of the waves from almost every room crashing at your feet and the sound of the waves relaxing your soul. Lots of deck space to soak up the sun and unwind while waves are lulling you to sleep. Living room and dining is very open with high ceilings with lots of windows. Kitchen is new and updated and fully stocked with anything you need. Master bedroom has its own deck space. Location was great as downtown Saint Augustine was only a 5 minute drive. We had a beach and city vacation at the same time. Publix is only couple minutes away as well. Large TV in the living room and all the other bedrooms have TV as well. Kids enjoyed sleeping on the triple bunk beds and playing on the beach. We signed up for Seranata and was able to use the pool and dining facility there as well. Kids loved the pool there. Would recommend using that option if you have young kids.
