Very nice getaway. Awesome staff, awesome location, awesome menu…if it wasn’t for a few minor housekeeping and maintenance odds and ends I’d give this place 5 stars.

Overall good stay. Only complaint would be the steepness of the stairs in the room. Due to the steepness of the stairs, I feel down the stairs and burned my hands on the railing while trying to catch my fall.

Great place to stay in winter park. The cabin was really cozy and staff was super helpful when we couldn’t figure out the fireplace… also super close to the base for skiing. Thanks A frame club!!

great service and excellent facilities

We stayed here in the summer. They do an amazing job of marketing this place but it's not quite as it appears. The cabins and concept are cute but it didn't feel well thought out. The grounds were unfinished, dirt around the cabins, weeds and the overall curb appeal was lacking. The back porch on the cabin was too short, the chair barely fit on the deck and it required stepping down a step to get out of the chair. The outdoor chairs were uncomfortable! The porch was very close to the next cabin's porch so lacking privacy and it made it awkward. The biggest issue we had was the super steep steps/ladder leading up to the loft where the bed was.This wasn't explained at all in the description. We didn't even know the bed was in a loft! The steps were almost at a 90 degree angle and very dangerous. There was no way a child or elderly person could manage this.We decided to drink less water because it was a nightmare going down those stairs in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom! There was bright outdoor lights shining in the bedroom at night and early sun through the window across the bed, no blinds. We missed having a TV in the bedroom to relax and watch a movie. It was downstairs and the couch was SO uncomfortable! The door blinds were extremely difficult to open/close. The bathroom was nice, no handle on door, the bedding was good, the vintage decor was nice. The kitchen had good basics. The A frame idea was quaint. The restaurant is pricey! Needs fine tuning.

We had an excellent stay overnight at A-Frame Club. There was a problem with our hot water and the staff quickly resolved it. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

The property is stylish and fun. The steep stairs are tricky for an older person to do.

Excelent place. Great location. Units are brand new. The only thing i would caution you about is if you have a bad knee you should ask what type of stairs your unit has. Ours were kind of ladder stair combo and were very difficult. The staff was awsome, very freindly and helpful with a messed up booking.

Concept is cute. Unfortunately we were there when there was some sort of drainage repair happening right outside our door. It was way too noisy to enjoy the cute little deck. The cabin was very cute and very clean. But, the sofa was small and hard and not very functional (although had we been able to use the deck we probably wouldn’t have minded). The price was too high for the experience we had. Maybe just bad timing.

The cabins are really cute and nice. There are quite a few of them and they’re clustered together, so not super private. The pics of the river are a little deceiving, there is a river but it’s a bit further away and right behind the cabins was more so grey water or something. The cabins came with plates, glasses, wine bottle opener, silver ware, a knife, a couple cast iron pans, small refrigerator, microwave, and 2 burner stove top. We were able to request a room facing the back so the view was pretty great. One of my favorite touches was the floors in the bathroom were heated. 😍 The shower is downstairs and there is a tub upstairs in the loft. The stairs up to the loft are a little steep, but if you go down them backwards it’s easier. It was so nice to wake up and take a nice bubble bath with the sun coming in through the window. The staff was really nice. We went to the saloon for a drink before retiring for the night and I also got the French onion soup and it was soooooo good! Overall great stay and would definitely come back. We just stayed one night, which was great.

Excellent! Ill be staying here again

There were some great aspects of the property and it definitely has potential, however it is still a work in progress which we didn’t anticipate, especially due to the price. The creek that runs past the property is beautiful but we had to use our own camp chairs to sit near it and the common areas will be fantastic when they are completed and not just dirt, mud and piles of rocks. The restaurant and staff were helpful but only being able to get ice when you can find someone available at the restaurant was frustrating. I feel that we experienced a “soft opening” with a full price cost. One thing to note- if you have any mobility issues the stairs to the loft would be a reason not to book- you have to come down them almost sideways and getting a small suitcase up them was quite a task.

I love the concept of this place but they need a few tweaks. If you check in after dark, it’s very dark. I had to use my phone and tripped with my luggage. I love the actual a frame. The stove. The linens were nice. The tub was awesome. The stairs…they have to change it. As a smaller person it was difficult. I can’t imagine my big and tall partner getting up and down safely. It’s so steep and the stairs are tiny. I really enjoyed it and would stay alone on business but don’t recommend to anyone older or larger. The steps are dangerous.

Best stay of our vacation

Unique look and feel to cabin, nice bathroom size, and good amount of space. Glad to have pullout sofa as stairs to upstairs bed are very steep. Would help to have some instructions for various gadgets in room on how to use. Also needs shades to block early morning light out of cabin or you will wake up with the sun.

A frame was very clean all the dishes etc were very nice heated floor was great and cute decor . The units were very close together and the ladder to go to the bed was very steep.

Wonderful concept very well thought out and designed

Best place I’ve ever stayed in Colorado, would recommend to anyone. Very beautiful set up in cabins and super comfy bed!!! Just one thing I didn’t like was, that housekeeping service tried coming in before 8:00am without nocking, luckily the door stopper was put on or they would have found my husband butt naked. Then around 9:45am another housekeeper tried coming in through the sliding glass doors, I’d had just gotten out of the shower and had to yelled and let her know that check out time was at 11:00am. I guess they just need to train their employees better.

Its a new small boutique hotel. Although they are not quite finished the place is amazing. Great design, bot exterior and interior. Perfect for a family getaway.

The marketing is a bit skewed for this property. The cabins are so close you can touch two at the same time, there was no blinds in the cabin I stayed in and it felt like a fishbowl with multiple other cabins able to easily look in. The grounds were muddy with no grass. The cabin was small and cute but the TV was damaged, the staircase is steep and tight and not anything that would be easy to carry your bag up to the bed area. It’s also not great if you have to use the restroom in the middle of night. The patio chairs are uncomfortable and difficult to get in and out of. The clubhouse was cute and friendly. It seemed over priced given that it was still under construction and missing window coverings.

Overall, our 6 night stay at the A-Frame Club was very nice. Although I couldn’t always get through to the staff when I called, they would get back to me if I left a message. The desk, located in the restaurant next door, was also a minute walk - so, if I needed to walk over with an urgent request/question, I could easily do so. The room was equipped with a nice kitchenette and supplies to cook. The soaking tub upstairs was a nice touch, along with the small outdoor deck. The heated bathroom floor was also a huge hit for us.The biggest issue with our stay was that the area around the A-Frames was construction zone and seemed very unfinished. However, the area was very quiet when it mattered (mornings and nights). The winter park resort was in walking distance with a few restaurant options and shops as well, which was nice to explore during our down time.

It was an excellent stay. The cabin was clean, the Saloon’s food was great and the service was friendly. Check in was a breeze and we’ll definitely be back.

We loved the location and unique architecture of each cabin and marveled at the use of space. Our family of 4 was comfortable and not cramped at all.

Dreamy! I imagine this would be so incredibly romantic in the fall/winter season! We had so much fun here!
