The location is right on a fantastic stretch of beach (Santana Beach). You can walk on the empty beach for ages passing other beaches like Popoyo Beach. The waves can get a bit scary, but that is true for 90% of the Pacific Coast. The Mar Adentro is a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place. We stayed almost a week and loved it so much, that we even returned for a second stay, when we needed the Pacific refreshment after some hot weeks in Nicaragua. The rooms are absolutely clean and very comfortable. The staff is super nice and the restaurant is pretty good, too. The menu is somewhat limited but there are some great meat and veg choices. We also enjoyed the atmosphere. If you are looking for a party place, it's probably not for you. THe Mar Adentro is really quiet, laid back and peaceful. Other options for bars and restaurants are within walking distance, though. It is not exactly cheap, but we found it was more than worth the price.

Heerlijke comfortabele rustige plek aan zee. Mooie grote kamer. Veel zitjes. Heerlijk aan zee zitten. In het resort maar ook vlakbij diverse restaurantjes. Prachtige zee, mooie golven. Paradijselijk!

Amazing beachfront location

Bedrooms were a bit basic

Prachtige locatie direct aan het strand en het ziet er allemaal mooi uit.

Het heeft potentie en ziet er super uit maar het mist gemoedelijkheid en sfeer. Grootste minpunt zijn de dure (Europese) prijzen van de accommodatie en het restaurant terwijl de service en dienstverlening wel achter blijft.

Comfy place, friendly staff, safe, close to beach, wifi/showers etc worked well, pool table.

We were the only people there, literally. So if you want any sort of vibe, this is not the place. That said, its close to Costa Oeste, which has a vibe, so we hungout there mostly and enjoyed the comfy accomodation at Mar Adentro, which is only like a 2 minute walk away.
