Room was nice & clean, didn't get disturbed from other people there. Bathroom & kitchen where clean

Couldn't work the shower

The fact that it was close to whew I worked…….by chance

It’s a dump. Kitchen is filthy with not even a ceiling in it. Bathroom is rotten. Bed sheets are satin like a cheap brothel.

Yes! I received a phone call from Southgate Lodge in the late morning of the day I was due to arrive at Southgate Lodge, Kings Lynn. The alledged proprietor there told me was unable to accommodate myself and my cycling buddy, owing to some unexplained stain on the carpet. I immediately sensed he was conning us. I asked if he new any alternate accommodation and he promised to ring me back. On ringing me back he said he had an Air BNB Room at his house and offered to let us stay there at the same cost already paid to Booking.com . On arrival at his address it was a house under extensive renovation, the entrance lobby into the kitchen was like a building site. Both my friend and I thought something was not right. The bedroom offered to us was OK as was the bathroom. Despite that we felt that something was afoot and needs investigating.The man at the house pleasant and quite charming, but still something didn't seem right! Although we had accommodation my friend in a double bed and me on a pull out bed, I had the most uncomfortable nights sleep of my life on a bed which was incredibly uncomfortable. I would be grateful for some minor compensation and would suggest you investigate the situation.

Nothing. We felt uncomfortable at the proprietors house. The whole situation felt really weird and I didn't think he was coming straight with us. Why would he cancel us because of a stained carpet?

Cold water , no towels.
