Light-filled, cozy, beautiful Serenity Cottage lived up to its name. ❤️

My husband and I traveled with another couple for a little getaway and Franklin did not disappoint. The house was even better than pictured, my girlfriend and I love interior design and loved every little detail of this charming home. Location was very convenient to historic downtown, groceries and a short drive to Leipers Fork and Nashville. The neighborhood was very quiet and we even had people walking by welcoming us to the area. Georgia and her assistant were quick to respond to any questions and our stay was absolutely perfect. We loved this area, beautiful town with great people. We would definitely return and would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charming exterior and the serene surroundings. The interior was impeccably organized and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy living area and well-equipped kitchen made it a home away from home. Whether sipping coffee on the porch or enjoying a serene evening, the experience was simply magical. The host’s hospitality was exceptional. They provided clear instructions and were readily available to answer any questions, making the whole stay seamless and enjoyable. I felt like a valued guest throughout my visit. This cottage is an oasis of tranquility, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return. The owner of this property lacks integrity and her word means nothing: The property is charming looking inside and out with lovely looking decor. I was especially taken with the beautiful Mother Mary sculpture art with praying hands hanging in the kitchen. For me it denoted a person with virtue and a clean conscience likely owns this house. That was apparently a false assumption on my part. Upon entering the house I was overwhelmed by a wall of artificial perfume air freshener. This chemical smell triggered an allergic reaction that caused my tongue to begin to swell in this house. I could not stay inside. I called the owner to tell her my situation. She was kind sounding, seemingly understanding and maybe briefly felt some compassion for me. She seemed unaware that many people have some level of intolerance or allergy to the toxins in artificial chemical smells. I asked her for a refund and she verbally agreed to fully refund my money. With my phone on speaker my father stood next to me and heard the agreement also. I was very appreciative and thanked her for her generosity and understanding. It was a great relief that I could move to another place that wasn’t going to cause anaphylaxis. After my trip I corresponded with the owner. She was initially pleasant during our interactions. Before resolution she decided to cease all communication with me and ignore my messages. When contacted VRBO put the onus for the refund on owner.

The Serenity Cottage does NOT disappoint! Beautifully decorated, top notch clean, smells lovely, beds and linens are wonderful! The Serenity Cottage leaves you wanting for nothing, Georgia has thought of everything. VERY well stocked kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Topping it off with a FANTASTIC location for any adventure, shopping, dining, dancing, kayaking, walking or even just to relax and read a good book. Very accommodating owner, she is absolutely delightful! We will be back. Thank you Georgia!

It was clean, cute and comfortable. I was disappointed that I didn’t learn that the oven was not working until I asked how to turn it on. It would have been great to know that before we arrived. That seems like it was as a one off issue and I would stay again.

One of the best places I've rented in my travels. The renovation was very nicely done. Great space, beautiful home. Very convenient to enjoy Franklin and the Nashville area. Would highly recommend this home for rental.

This is a cozy house close to Main Street in Franklin. We enjoyed an easy check in with a basket of goodies on the table - which was much appreciated after a long day of travel! We used the fireplace on a chilly morning and swung on the porch swing on a beautiful afternoon. Thank you for a wonderful stay with friends!

This home is gorgeous and the proximity to downtown Franklin is fantastic. Very gracious and immediately responsive host.

Serenity Cottage is the perfect location to enjoy historic Franklin and Leiper's Fork. It is a short walk to visit the Carter House and hear about the Battle of Franklin.There are several more historic sites within the area. The Patina Home and Garden store is a must in Leiper's Fork. The cottage is a vacation spot in itself. The kitchen is divine! It is the perfect place to relax after enjoying the area. Make reservations for live music at Puckett's. We enjoyed Irish music by The Sternwheelers. Free public parking is across the street. Georgia is a great host and had the best welcome basket for us. We will be back in September.
