Beautiful View

We booked this property for our Kansas City, MO and Greenville, SC family to meet up for Christmas. To say it was excellent, is an understatement! Rob and Traci are such great hosts and this property is amazing. They have everything you need to have a successful stay. The house was in excellent condition and they had decorated it, and even had a Christmas tree! Our entire family would recommend this place and great hosts for anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay! Thank you Rob and Traci for everything!

The cozy chalet was perfect for a week getaway and the owner provided everything we could possibly have needed, and more! Highly recommend.

This place was perfect for our family vacation! The layout works great when you have a wide age range, allowing places for everyone to relax without feeling like sardines. There were plenty entertainment options inside and outside. We had 4 kids ages 13-17 3 boys and 1 girl and not once did we hear “I’m bored. There’s nothing to do!” Also, the owners were helpful and quick to respond which is also refreshing! I could go on more but I’d run out of space. Highly recommended for the views, space, cleanliness and helpful owners.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was clean and spacious. There were so many fun things to do in the house - darts, pool, ping pong, game table, hot tub. We just loved it. The dock was down a big hill, but having the gator made it possible to get there. Also made for a beautiful view of the lake from the deck! Great communication with the owner before the trip.

This home was beautiful and amazing. Everything was clean and nice. It was just the two of us but we enjoyed the games, the hot tub and the views! It made us want to stay forever. And communication with the owners was quick and they were very nice.

Perfect location, quite with all the amenities needed! Everything worked as advertised. Very clean and cozy house. Owners are very responsive and professional. 5 stars!!!!!

We had 2 families (10 people) rent this house for a week and it had everything we needed. The owners are wonderful to work with. We spent every day on the lake and enjoyed every evening in the hot tub and playing bags. This is an awesome place for families!

The site is beautiful, the house is great, and the hosts were excellent. The house sits on a hill overlooking the lake. The view is beautiful and the property is very nicely maintained. There is a steep path from the house to the lake, but it is navigable on foot or with the mule(think off-road golf cart) included in the rental. This was a very nice inclusion in the rental. Having a large dock to keep our 2 boats in the water all week was great. Our boats were fine through a few storms and all Mother Nature could throw at them. Having private docks with this property is a huge plus. We had a very hot week. The well maintained air conditioning in this house was critical for our stay. We would not have enjoyed this stay during this week without the air conditioning. It doesn’t always matter, but during this week it mattered and this property delivered. The rooms and bathrooms were nice, as was the kitchen. We loved the game room with a pool table, dart board, and awesome video games. We had a few issues during the week unrelated to the property that the hosts helped us out with. They didn’t need to do anything yet were wonderful. This makes a world of difference. We stayed with 3 generations of family and all enjoyed the stay. We will return to this house with these great hosts.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Chalet. It is a beautiful setting with spectacular view of the lake and night stars. We had our two sons and their families including a 2 year old and the setup of the house was great. We ate on the deck overlooking the lake every night. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed time on the lake and also at the lakeshore of the property. It is a long steep downhill walk to the water but doable. Having the mule was great for hauling stuff to the lake and dock as well as people. Would rent again.

The property was amazing, the hosts were exceptional, and we had a fabulous week. Can't wait to make it back!

Everything was great, our second time in two years at the property. A1 rental. Owners easily available for any concerns.

We were beyond pleased with this property and it's owners. The home was beautiful and spacious. We had four adults and four children (2 families) and everyone had plenty of space. There were so many activities, between kayaking, pool, ping pong and the many TVs, everyone was entertained. Our favorite was the arcade style gaming table that had so many throw-back games. The adults couldn't get enough. The property is also beautiful with amazing views of the lake. We cannot wait to go back for another family vacation!

We had a wonderful weekend at this property! The weather wasn't great, but we made the best of it, from the hot tub, boat dock, ping pong, pool table, arcade game, corn hole and that view!! Our family spent Christmas week here. Great cabin with magnificent view! The most well stocked cabin we’ve ever rented. Plenty of space, plenty to do. Definitely a place we want to stay again! The hosts are amazing and very responsive

Our family of 7 had a wonderful fall break at this home! The house was very well equipped with everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. Plenty of things to do, pool table, ping pong, hot tub and much more. We came to fish and enjoy the water and we weren’t disappointed. The older kids loved kayaking from the dock. They have a wonderful Tritoon boat available to rent with the chalet. The owners were quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. Thanks for a wonderful stay. All of us agreed we will definitely stay again!

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every day of it! The house was great for the kids to have stuff to do, the view was incredible, and we had plenty of space to hangout and relax. The mule to get up/down from the lake was huge! It certainly helped that our weather was so nice. The hot tub was a perfect way to wind down after a day of hiking or fishing (I recommend Terry Elliott at Elliott's Guide Service if you're looking for a fishing guide). The house was clean. Rob and Traci were great to communicate with. This house was in the top rankings of all the places we've stayed and we would all definitely stay again. Thanks Rob and Traci!

This was a great vacation rental for our 2 families on a long weekend… plenary of room and so many things to do. Our hosts were wonderful and we will definitely stay again!

We have stayed a lot of places on KY lake and this was the best place yet! The view from the top floor bedroom was phenomenal! Woke up to the sunrise and it was immaculate! All the amenities were unbeatable. They had a pool table, ping pong, corn hole and a hot tub. The private dock was awesome too! Great fishing and was able to rent a top of the line boat that was at the dock already for us to use. We used it to get to a couple great fishing spots. We caught bass, red eared sunfish, and some huge perch. Oh and forgot to mention there was a 4 seater Kawasaki mule to carry all the fishing equipment and everyone down to the dock! It was an amazing stay and would recommend to anyone! 5 stars all the way!

This was the 2nd time our extended family vacationed together at KY Lake. This house and property were amazing. The property owners, Rob and Traci, were extremely responsive and answered any questions we had. They also had pontoon boats available for rent and brought it directly to our dock. As far as the house, there were three levels, and we paid extra for a few more guests and there was plenty of room to spread out. They had a couple of air mattresses that we used as well as plenty of extra bedding and pillows. Plenty of bath towels but you’ll need to bring your own beach towels. The washer and dryer were very nice to have. Mealtime was fun for our family and there was plenty of room to eat outside on the deck area. They had a grill and pellet grill for our use, and plenty of appliances in the kitchen (crock pot, pressure cooker, coffee maker, etc). If you wanted to go out to eat, Murray was your best bet which was about 30 minutes away. There was a Dollar General about 10 minutes away where you could get ice, snacks, food items, etc. The mule was definitely a necessity to go back and forth from the lake as it is a VERY steep hill. Not for anyone with mobility issues. There were 5-6 kayaks available for our use which our family enjoyed. Our kiddos really enjoyed the pool table and video game in the basement, as well as the over-sized Connect Four game and checkers in the upper loft. People could spread out in the different areas without feeling cramped. Wi-Fi worked great in the house, but when you pulled out of the driveway, we had to make sure we had downloaded the directions before we left as reception was very spotty. You won’t go wrong with this rental and working with Rob & Traci. We would definitely rent this property again.

We had a great family vacation. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The covered boat dock was great to house our boat for the week. The mule was amazing for getting up the steep hill. Even the family dog enjoyed the week. The weather was amazing and we loved being able to use the kayaks!

The Chalet sits on a mountain overlooking the lake. From the minute you arrive you feel like you have been whisked away. The views from the deck and throughout the house are beautiful. The house is really a home away from home. It is stocked with anything you can think of. Traci and Rob really thought of everything. The bedrooms are spacious and all have ceiling fans. Beds are comfortable and lots of pillows are provided. Bathrooms are clean with lots of storage. The downstairs is beautifully updated with pool table, bar, dart board and arcade, hot tub, fireplace and screened in porch. We spent most of our time by the lake and in the deck playing corn hole. I will say that the walk to and from the dock is steep but the mule provided was most helpful. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to visit again.

The pictures don't do the home justice. The property is perfect for a larger group. Plenty of room for all to enjoy time and relax.
