Very arrogant manager. did not give room and instead of explaining kicked me out by calling cops !!! How did you even sign this place ? Very dangerous place

Nice laid back chill hostel, great location near the beach.

I was woken just before midnight because I think they double-booked the room, so they were trying to bring another couple in. The room itself was as advertised.

I have a impartial review since I didn’t actually get to stay there, so don’t know know what the inside even looks like. I drove there, tried to park, but could not. The free parking on the street is very far way away, I had bags, and it was raining, so that wasn’t an option. I would have paid to park in the lot right by the place, but it said no parking from 5-6 am and didn’t want to get towed. So I ended having to pay much more for a hotel, not to mention I had already paid for the hostel. So money lost there. On a normal night, this may not have been a problem, but Hermosa was having some sort of street fair with lots of streets blocked off and tons of people. So not the hostels fault in the least. I may try it again. It looks like a nice place.

Didn’t realize it was a Hostel until after my reservation but I had my own room and it wasn’t bad at all. Would stay again. Tons of bars and restaurants right outside.

I loved having a room with an ocean view. The location of the hostel is great. I will definitely be returning.

I didn't realize that they where co ed rooms Woke up to a gentleman trying to get in my bed No on site staff had to leave in middle of the night to sleep in the car plus they had no parking and very different to find and very noisy

Decent place to stay if you just want to relax near a beach

Cute cute place if you’re trying to stay by the beach however if you plan on viewing all of LA county, consider renting a car. Transit is great but takes a while from Hermosa Beach to anywhere else in the city. Nonetheless, loved this.

Nice for young to enjoy till midnight

They have a lot activities for the guests, the room was pretty comfy and clean, it had a nice view to the ocean and everyone was super friendly and informative. There was no parking on site but the front desk gave us instructions to find free parking, it was around 10 to 15 minutes walking but we didn’t mind. Nice location close to stores and restaurants. A little tricky to find but apart from that all good.

I paid in advance. I couldn’t use the night. I did not want or receive a refund but an unauthorized 75 dollar charge appeared on my credit card even though I was never there (and never gave them my credit card number)

We had a girls trip short stay. The hostel was clean and super friendly. It is located in the heart of the nightlife at the Strand and literally steps away from the pier. The showers were hot. This was our first hostel experience and it was a good one! Excellent for the price. Would return and Definitely recommend 👌
