The location is very convenient.

Upon arrival we where not made to feel welcome. The room itself was not as advertised it was damp cold and no views, and the breakfast which was the hotels selling point was just a crutch to hold up a poor stay

Old building and loads of history Really friendly informal hosts Had more of an air B&B feel Great location Lovely room overlooking the cathedral

Some things too tired the carpet needs replacing on the main stair however the owners have only had the hotel for a short time and these are things that no doubt get attended to over time

when we arrived there was no one there to greet us, had to climb 3 flights of stairs to room, took 2 people to unlock the building door, breakfast was the worst ever, for a £150 a night really wasn’t worth it, AJ wasn’t clued in as to what was needed. if wed paid £60 per night would be ok. luckily we found weatherspoons and next time we’ll stay there there breakfast was lovely
