Went to Redding for a family reunion. Stayed here for 2 nights. The house was clean bedrooms very roomy. The pool is old but we enjoyed cooling down in it would be nice if there were some lights in the pool area for the evening. Kitchen had lots of appliances and cookware. Plenty of extra guest towels ,TP and garbage bags! Appreciated that! Host was very accommodating and responded quickly.

The interior of the house is clean. The yard is overgrown around the pool. The pool is barely functional. I contacted the owner 2 times about the pool. First time about a month before arrival and 2nd time about 3 days prior, both times asking if the pool was open and ready to use. Both times the owner said it was open and ready to go. The pool was dirty and green. Clearly not ready for use. The pool guy came the next day, cleaned the pool and added chemicals. The pool in general is in very poor shape, huge patches of plaster missing, pump barely moves water.
The house is large, bedrooms big, beds seemingly comfortable. The a/c struggled, the exterior temp was 84. I question if it would function at all in Reddings more typical 90 to 100 plus summer days. In general the house is old, the remodel is adequate, the house sits on a very busy road, lots of road noise during the day, fairly quiet at night.
The owner did not give us a code to the house until the morning of our arrival. We were 7 hrs away. Not knowing if we had been scammed, or if we would ever get a code to the house. In general any contact we had with the owner, was adequate (barely).

We brought ten high school seniors and two chaperones to Redding. We really enjoyed Brandy Creek Beach at Whiskey Town Lake. The house was great! Comfy beds and clean rooms. The kids loved the pool table and the ping pong table. Definitely worth the rent. The location was great if you know what it’s like to live three hours from Costco you appreciate a ten minute drive!

The large house was clean and smelled nice. The backyard is huge. The pool looked great, but the weather wasn't right for swimming.
There was a nice coffee set up.
The kitchen could use a few more small appliances, slow cooker, baking dishes and coffee grinder.
The beds were comfortable.
The check out process was reasonable.

We had a long weekend stay 3 nights, it’s an older house that is well kept and comfortable, however the dishwasher was broken and there were no kitchen towels to dry dishes, which was not communicated, we reached out to ask for towels and they never arrived. Being that we had a funeral we were not available to greet the repairman for the dishwasher that was scheduled at the same time. Right after we cleaned and left the house i was flying out from Sacramento and was driving there when I realized we forgot something, but we still had a member of our party in the area, we reached out because I left important documents that i wanted to retrieve, the owner was not helpful and the documents have now been lost, which creates many new processes and hassles, all he had to do was allow us back in right after leaving, or save the documents for us to retrieve. This was the biggest disappointment, shows total disregard for our needs. The property was great but I wouldn’t want to deal with Ian again.

We enjoyed our stay at this Redding property! There were some minor issues with the house but were negligible. The pool table was a great source of entertainment. Kitchen area was spacious and plenty of seating in the living room for everyone. 5 bedrooms were perfect as we all had our own rooms. There was also a linen closet with extra sheets and towels. The 3 bathrooms were appreciated too! Overall, great stay at this Redding rental.

We had a lovely stay at this home. There was so much space in each of the rooms we didn't feel crowded at all. There were extra blankets and linens easily accessible . We had lots of space inside as well as out side. The garage was quite cold so Pool games were limited and quick. But there were table games that we could bring in the house. The internet was not as strong as I would have liked and the TV in the living room dropped our programs through out our stay. But we wanted to have quality family time and that was what we got.

The was everything I expected. The hosts were very accommodating. Everyone in my family really enjoyed staying there and said that it felt like home. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We would stay there again

This house was great and we enjoyed the pool, back porch, game room, and the house in general. The main negative was some road noise on the street side, but this was negligible. Also it's a little stuffy in the garage/game room in the summer time. Bring charcoal for the grill if you want to BBQ. The kids loved the karaoke microphone on the back porch. Sorry to the neighbors for my singing... The beds were very comfortable and there was actually a variety of different firmness mattresses for people with back issues. The owner was very responsive and helpful although we didn't need much assistance. Great place to stay.

Thank you again Ian for allowing my family to stay in your home! This place was perfect place to stay! There were many fun options for my family to do from swimming in the pool to roasting marshmallows. We enjoyed using the BBQ while listening to music! Great location as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

We were in town for an event and the house was perfect for our group. Close to downtown and the freeway with a bunch of things to keep us entertained.
