The owner was friendly and welcoming :) The room had a high beamed ceiling and spacious with a pretty view ! Throughout the house was decorated with owner’s creativeness and imagination. We have enjoyed appreciating their carefully selected furnitures ! The kitchen was very airy and attractive. It was really located in the heart of the town, so it was very easy to exploring it and coming back from the restaurant at night. The parking was just a minute away from the accommodation which was very helpful. The uniqueness of this accommodation has certainly added the charm to our holiday :) !

The guests will be asked to take off the shoes during their stay. The slippers are provided. It was all right, but l have found it bit awkward to go up and down the fluffy carpeted stairs. I mean, it was slippery with the combination of the slippers and the fluffy carpet, and l couldn’t get the good grips for the each steps. My partner has found the same thing. So….be careful ! The breakfast could have been bit more flamboyant to go well with the beautiful kitchen !

Beautiful old building, great facilities, in a lovely quiet location. Our host was excellent and very helpful with information about Bergerac. Thoroughly recommended for anyone visiting this historic town

. This is not a hotel, but an apartment remotely managed. There was no warning that the door would be shut at 8.00. Messages allegedly sent to us did not arrive. When we managed to contact the owner he was rude, said he was out of the town and it was all our fault. He refused to refund our fee. It should not be impossible in any case to have a system for guests arriving 20 mins late. The owner’s attitude was unpleasant and his conduct frankly dishonest. Book at your peril

We loved it! So beautiful and charming and in a fantastic location. The bedroom was lovely with a super comfortable bed and great bathroom. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return for another stay.

This property oozes charm. Location is perfect for a stay. The room was exceptional, very quaint and beautifully decorated . The sitting areas were furnished exquisitely. To top it off the hosts were charming, friendly, and helped in every way. And the breakfast was just right!
