Wonderful stay at Locke Berlin, spotlessly clean in all areas, both public spaces and rooms. Very good breakfast food, I cannot comment on the restaurant as I did not use it, likewise the gym and free laundry facilities. I would happily return there tomorrow and have already recommended to friends. Excellent position for public transport, literally backing onto the Wall . The river spree outside the door is beautiful. All in all a fantastic position, great hotel and in an historic area.

WOW… this was my first time staying at a Locke hotel and the Locke at East Side Gallery was AMAZING. Beautiful room and hotel, and the staff were just first rate, really amazing service! I did not want to leave, I can’t wait to go back! Thank you

Only and very small criticism is that the hotel smells like fake and cheap vanilla that hits you, as soon as you enter the foyer. So i hope that they will see my message and locate what ever has been Wunderbaum’en the place up.

This is a perfect spot to enjoy Berlin, truly a home away from home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are well appointed, very clean, and the balcony rooms are a great place to enjoy the river. And it’s a short walk to the Mercedes Benz arena and the Uber Arena so perfect if you are seeing an event there.

This is the best property I have stayed at in my Europe travels. The bed is extremely comfortable along with minimal noise made for the best sleep ever! . Easy access from train station and bus service for getting around. A short walk across the bridge puts you in a less touristy area for food options.

What a nice little gem! I absolutely love this place. The staff the room and the food at their restaurant. I highly recommend this place especially since I had the pleasure of experiencing their chain in Munich.

The room was well layed out and the kitchen area had basics to cook with. The shower was lovely and we had a very comfortable stay although my the mattress is on the softer side.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. Super clean, love the decor and funky lighting design in the rooms. …and a view of the Spree right outside my bedroom? Who could ask for more. It’s very close to two major train stations, and also walkable (if you like a nice half hour or more walk) to major destinations. …and much closer are some funky spots as well.
Plus, you have the Berlin Wall (East Side Gallery) literally right outside the main entrance.

Lovely hotel chain, beautifully decorated throughout, with comfortable bed and bedding. There is a small kitchen which was absolutely adequate for our short stay. Our studio room was overlooking the river with amazing views - I would definitely recommend this side rather than the city view. Also the staff need a special mention as they are super nice, friendly and helpful - the best way to be welcomed after a long trip. We also loved the complimentary, good quality toiletries. Though it would be nice if we had some body lotion also. Overall, I struggle to find any fault, just remember that there is no daily cleaning like in other hotels.

Property exactly as described and photographed. A beautiful room with everything needed. Chic, clean and quiet. Staff were attentive and personable. Will definitely be a first consideration when travelling to Berlin and their other properties

I could not fault Locke at East Side in any way. The most helpful and friendliest of staff. Fantastic facilities, communal areas, activities and area. The rooms are fully equipped and very comfy. Everything you need if you want to cook for yourself or the cafe downstairs does excellent food and drink. The design and style of the room is very relaxing and the balcony view over the river made the room complete. The area that this hotel is situated at East Side has everything there. A shopping Mall, supermarkets, clothes shops, restaurants, cafes and the Uber Arena.
If you want to see any of the Berlin Wall…. It’s right there!!
I loved the stay and will definitely go back.

The design in this hotel is beautiful and very thoughtful. There is a great cafe and restaurant in the hotel. I love that there is a kitchenette and the general layout of the room. The pillows were slightly too stiff but maybe bc they are new?

Great location by the Berlin Wall. So close to the mall so it’s convenient for groceries. The people who work there are amazing and helped me in many ways. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Highly recommend!!!

The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms with a patio have a super great view over the Spree River. Friendly staff. Location is pretty good, you can explore the Berlin Wall and walk along the river just outside the hotel. It’s also about a 10 minute walk to the train station to go other places. I would stay here again, although might also consider something a bit more central depending on what areas you want to explore.

The riverview was to die for. It makes you feel like you are a part of the party in Berlin even when you're jet-lagged and need to sleep inside. Very cozy. Immaculately and smartly designed. I truly enjoyed my stay. I felt conflicted about the hotel being placed on the Berlin Wall, but it made for great opportunities to learn about German history.

Fantastic hotel, we got a river view room and it was fantastic. Has free laundry and a great gym upstairs. We also enjoyed having a small kitchen. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is so-so as you need to transit to major attractions, but I would still stay here again.

It was one of the best designed hotels (in terms of functionality) that I ever stayed at. The pillows could be a little more comfortable but I think the rest was great.
Also having a coffee shop by the river was beyond fantastic!
