nothing

Very bad experience. Please read on. Booked 2 weeks in advance, free cancellation within 7 days. My very 1st question 14 days in advance was: can I check in between 0.00 - 2.00 AM? I received check-in info regarding a key safe with code. That does not require any one so sounded good. 10 days in advance I double checked: can I arrive in the night. No problem. Then just days before my arrival suddenly new instructions were given: pick up keys at a store. Huh? And the opening hours are until 7 PM... So I again said: I will definitely not be there before 7 PM. So I was asked to arrive before 11 PM. Then out of the blue the host wrote: "Oh dear, I didn't realise you arrive between 00:00 and 2:00!"... My God... I have been telling the host since the beginning... Again - I will not make it so just cancel the booking. Now the host switches to French and tells me he will not cancel because it is within the 7 day period and he cannot find any one else... I tried very friendly to pursuade but no way. So unfair...
