Lovely comfortable wooden cabin in exceptional internal condition. More than adequate heating for a winter stay. Located off a very quiet road. Totally silent and completely dark so ideal sleep conditions. Big bed and even an electric blanket! (Though we had no need for bedroom heating or electric blanket for our November visit) The communication and lovely welcome from the hosts was exceptional.

Everything was perfect. We ended up booking an extra night. It was just what we needed to unwind and relax. Our hosts Lillie and Dorothy treated us like family, we will definitely be back again next time we travel to Ireland.

The view from the cabin is so beautiful we watched the birds for so long in the mornings. The cabin was perfect. So comfy and has everything you need. There were lovely walks nearby and also quick spin to Kilkenny. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back for a visit
The property itself is fantastic. The WiFi wasn’t working for our visit but was due to be fixed next week. We didn’t mind at all, it was nice to be off grid and fewer distractions.

Location, fav hosts, just everything was perfect for us,, definitely will b back,, great value for money 😋plus all the extras that was left out,, home made cake water milk exc exc

Self catering but yogurt, milk, cake, tea and coffee were provided. Lovely quiet position. Large garden and perfect location for visiting relatives.

👏 amazing host. So cozy and private. Irish Cake and milk for coffee was a nice touch.
Shampoo and body wash was appreciated.
Lock on front door too tricky for us. The rail in the closet came off easily.
The master bedroom has the squeekiest bed ever. No sex here!
The toilet can be pretty tricky to flush.

the two landladies are the most kind and friendly people. their hospitality knows no limits. three friendly cute little dogs are a delight. the cabine is very well equipped. Even the fridge was filled. the ladies look very well after the estate. the garden is beautiful and shows respect for insects and other animals. a wonderful place to stay.

Set on the expansive grounds of a former countryside schoolhouse, the chalet is roomy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and kitted out with all possible mod-cons. The setting is perfect for nature lovers and is quiet and ever so cosy. Lillie is a wonderful hostess, welcoming guests with her genuine warmth and approachability, and always attentive to every possible need. All of the treats in the kitchen and fridge were delightful. I cannot recommend this place enough!

the environment in nature, the kindness of the hostesses with an exceptional treatment, everything was ready in the house.
It is so ideal that it makes you want to spend a month there, jajajaja
The only thing is the operation of the toilet water system so that it falls when you hit it. It would also be advisable to put some protective material on the kitchen wood so that it does not get damaged along with the stove.

The lady of the house was so helpful I travelled with my mam who is in wheelchair and she couldn't have done more to make her stay comfortable.
