The hotel is modern and decor is lovely. We found the room dark especially in the bathroom. Dark tan walls, dark furniture. Lighting was somewhat poor. The sound proofing between rooms above and next to our room was not the best. It is next to a Tim Hortons, NEEDS store and A&W which was nice. Plenty of parking. Good staff, good security features. Stayed there because it was recommended by a friend. We will probably not stay there again mostly because of the lack of good sound proofing between rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was lovely and we were so grateful to have such a nice pet friendly hotel! Staff went above and beyond and were so friendly and helpful throughout our three night stay. The staff in the bar and restaurant were exceptional, especially the Denny’s manager and Madi, the bartender. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Was told 20 hours before stay, so after being able to cancel, that the pool was closed, we chose that hotel for the pool, and the restaurant on site eas horrible

Can't imagine a better equipped hotel stay. Suite layout is functional and efficient. More than I bargained for....I wanted to stay around and hang out.

Great hotel but the TV gave us issues the both nights we were there and the hot tub was out of service. But it is a great hotel and great location.

Everything was great. I did notice that the showers were a little dirty and my boyfriend and i had back pain in the morning from sleepong on the bed.

Beautiful hotel, other then chips on the floor when we checked in. Tv was frozen so we couldnt watch t.v. alarm was pre set so at 6 am waking up the kids, tv was still not working. Was told to try spme trouble shooting. Was able to fix it before they actually sent someone to fix it.

Darren was great checking us in. The hotel is new, modern and probably has the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. The room has a very nice chaise, kettle, coffee maker , mini fridge & microwave. The bathroom had a beautiful, large walk in shower with great lighting. We went next store to have breakfast at Denny’s. Our new favourite hotel!

Our stay was Comfortable and met my accessibility needs. Trafficy area so we are at the hotel which has two restaurants on premises, Bar One and Denny's. Bar One was our choice very busy it was wings night. Long wait for food soup and Nachos. We decided to get breakfast from Tim Horton's in the morning

We stay here very regular now since June of 2024. We’ve stayed several times. This stay included no sleep whatsoever as there was a dog next door that barked on and off all night long. I’m not sure how the owners slept through it if they were even in the room . It happened so often that we just couldn’t sleep and it was too late to leave. Again we have stayed several times this summer however this was the worst we’ve ever experienced

The hotel and staff were very nice. The associated bar, Bar One, was underwhelming. The staff was nice but it was really just the extension of the Denny's with beer. More work should be done to make it more like a lounge, including walling it off from Denny's.

Another great stay at the Sandman! Pool was colder then I was expecting but my son loved the slide. Room and amenities were great…will stay again!

The hotel is located in an industrial section of town, although it is apparently near a mall. Staff are polite but not terribly outgoing or engaging. I asked for a map of the nearby area, was told there was none, and was never asked what I was interested in finding. There is a gym which is clean and has the basic equipment. The rooms are immaculate and furnishings are modern.

Staff could be more personable at check in. Check out time there was only one person working and a huge queue. They had no self serve hot water and no one had replenished the herbal teas in lobby. Overall the rooms were beautiful.

The rooms were a great size and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were nice . Highly recommend.

The staff was very thorough and they upgraded to a suite unit with kitchenette that includes a full fridge, cooktop, microwave and a rent hood vent. Overall it’s quite clean, except for some small dirt/ debris on the carpet. Overall the suites are very modern, spacious and well kept.
It didn’t include any breakfast, but it has a 24 hrs Dennys attached. The coffee and beverage station has very limited service hours.

Very friendly staff (exception one guy in the morning) all in one a perfect place to stay with the cleanliness, the pool, the Gym and just everything.

This property was excellent except for the tv programming did not include local CBC tv.
It had CBC News World but not local.
The CTV channels were not local rather.
It is very important to have the local news when you are travelling.
