Really liked the location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was really good. The room was big and nice.

The shower was very hard to manage temperature wise and I got a sports massage which was not very strong so not really what I paid for.

Welcoming friendly staff. Beautiful room with a balcony with chairs to watch the world go by. Breakfast was great choices and delicious food. Location was wonderful for visiting the walled city and the promenade.

-nothing to do in the middle of the courtyard, this would be a great opportunity for some F&B, shisha or afternoon tea - poor breakfast

The location is good as in your close to the exit of the old city. This helps with tours and taxis that drop/pick at the gate. You save the city entry fees. It is not in center of the old city if that’s what you want. Has a fair number of restaurant options close to it so that’s good.

The service of the front desk is beyond terrible. Starting from the manager. The staff are so scared of him that they won’t even give you his full name. Moreover it appears the property is running a scam with payment. For bigger amount customers l, they claim your cards are not working and insist on making cash payment. So much so they blackmailed my sister and two children in the middle of the night till 1am by refusing them entry to the room until cash payment was made. When contacted booking.com same card worked on the same machine. What a shocker!! Due to this late night debacle asked for a 1 hour late checkout. They send the bell bout to my room and ask to leave. The Manager insisted I pay extra and argued on the phone. Only agreed when I threatened to raise another complaint to booking.com Between my sister and me we tried 8 different bank cards that were working all throughout Baku except their hotel and yet the property refused to acknowledge their machine issue. They just pushed us to pay cash. The toilets have a bath tub so high and has a hole on the side. Water leaks and floods the toilet. Room 405. See photos.

Staff are none supportive expect the lady in evening sift

Perfect location! It was really nice to stroll around Icherisheher every day. It is also just 2 min walk away from the Fountains Square, 6-7 min walk from the Boulevard. There are many nice restaurants just in 100 meters. Although it is on the busiest street in Old town, it was perfectly quiet in the room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean. Hotel staff is really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast can be improved.

Location! Location! Location! The hotel is set in Old Town Baku, within easy walking distance to all tourist attractions and shopping. Plenty of reetaurants and entertainment venues at the doorstep.

The breakfast was pretty basic.

Location of the hotel is excellent and all major attractions are within walkable distance. We stayed in Deluxe room with balcony. Size of the room is large and furnitures are very good. Breakfast was good but options were limited.

Bathtub design is not good and unsafe for elderly people. Bad smell was coming from bathroom.

Room had no windows to the outside. It was very hot, and the air conditioning system was not controllable. The thermostat did not work in the room. Later they put a ventilator in my room as it was very hot. The room I stayed in was not suitable as a hotel room. The mini fridge was extremely noisy, so they replaced it with another noisy one. It kept waking me up at night when its motor turned on.

Restaurant staff (free breakfast) were not friendly at all.

The staff esp the front desk Ms Tunaci and tye General Manager were very helpful and courteous! In general staff was good

The facilities like the baths the beds all need a major overhaul
