The location is great, close to many restaurants (try Kaptan pide!) and no hill climbing required. It was very generous of the hotel to allow us to use their washing machines and dryers for our laundry, free of charge. The hotel staff member was really helpful and quick to respond to our frequent requests, thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mere Nostrum. The hotel is located on a quiet street within walking distance to all the major attractions - amphitheater (great place to see sunset), marina, old town, and lots of good restaurants (try Cafe Emre for lunch and Oburus Momus for dinner). The hotel has beautiful terrace where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast is AMAZING! It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in Turkey. In addition to the typical assortment of salad, cheese, bread, olives and dried fruit, they also served something different each morning. And the eggs! Hands down, best fried eggs I’ve ever had in my life. We stayed in a double room and found it to be quite spacious. The room included a small refrigerator and electric kettle. One of the windows had a screen which allowed in fresh air without having to worry about mosquitoes. The bathroom was modern and included a huge walk-in shower, plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Lastly, the staff at Mere Nostrum were lovely. They went out of their way to make sure each guest enjoyed their visit. Highly recommend!
