The hotel amenities were fantastic! Firm and comfortable Simmons bed, clean and spacious rooms with kitchenette that's filled with good quality utensils and cutlery for our simple meals. The rooms were exactly the same as the pictures shared by the hotel so nothing else that we could ask for in terms hotel facilities.

The lack of front porch for alighting and the management staff. We arrived on a rainy night in 2 cars with a wheelchair passenger and 3 elderly travellers. While we were assisted by a Japanese lady who ran out in the rain to give us directions on where to park for our wheelchair passenger car (thank you for her help), the instructions were not very clear (note that we have a Japanese traveller with us so language is not an issue). We also had to unload luggages in the rain near the front of the hotel as there was no front porch. As we had to rush from one car to another to help our elderly travellers and a wheelchair passenger, we had problem communicating with the front desk people. One of the front desk staff is an Indian lady, who doesn't seem to understand English nor Japanese. I asked for where the carpark entrance is ( one car has been driven to the carpark for wheelchair access and i had to go over to help her alight), the reply i got was a nonchalant, "it's 1000yen a night"... there was no initiative from her to understand what the situation was. (My sister has already done the check in). She just stood by the front desk, with a clueless face... i was directed by my fellow traveller, who came in from the carpark to direct me to the door (a mere 20 steps away). A Japanese guy later came to apologise, but i can't help but comment that this lady gave us a "you're a trouble maker" look during the 2 nights stay we were there. Another comment is regarding the hotel's carpark. We were not able to park there on the first night as we did not reserve and all lots were taken. So reminder to those who needs it to reserve in advance! However, i would like to sound out to the management, that a carpark should always be accessible to hotel guests and not staff only. I was trapped outside the carpark even though there was QR/ pin system that seemed to allow hotel guests to enter.

What a great hotel for a lovely break in Takayama ; far from the busy, overcrowded cities. The big suite is perfect for a romantic escapade, with a view on the city & the mountains, which is gorgeous at sunset. The bathtub was amazing, it was so relaxing! And we had a balcony to enjoy our even more. I highly recommend.

Great modern hotel located just up from the station. Easy walk across to the old town and important sightseeing locations. Blackout curtains and modern comfortable beds and not tatami made for our first deep sleeps of the holiday! Room design was very clever and fitting a family of four with two teenagers into one room was very simple.

The hotel does not look after bags after checkout. This is very inconvenient and inconsistent with the other hotels we stayed in throughout Japan. It would be good if this policy could be revisited.

La chambre était super. Le système de clef, pratique. La vue, très agréable. Une baignoire sympathique, de belle taille. Au centre de la ville et à côté des bus et du train, très pratique.

Le service alimentaire est très en dessous par rapport au prix payé. Uniquement disponible du matin à la fin d'après-midi, il est extrêmement cher et ne propose rien d'original. Le service "à emporter" est presque inexistant.

Modern clean hotel. Great location (walking steps from jR Takayama and nohi bus terminal) and good space for a comfortable sleep.

Breakfast was a waste of money. The hotel wasn't particularly comfortable, the staff seemed rather inexperienced.

Newly opened hotel. Most of the stuffs are new. Rooms are pretty big. The room that I booked can sleep at least 6 ppl. Near to JR station and Bus Terminal so convenient for those who are looking to catch a bus to Shirakawa-go.

Clean and spacious with big and comfortable bed. Toilet and bathroom are separated. The room has a kitchenette with cutlery and a balcony too.

The tatami unit was exceptional, with the hostess willing to help teach how to set them up. The spa (additional cost) was super worth it.

The hotel was not very flexible with early check in or late check out. The luggage storage solution was extremely trust based (guests walk into a room to leave their luggage where they have full access to other guests luggage). Their washing machine only accepts 100 yen coins, and the front desk doesn't have change. Their only solution was to "buy something at the vending machine for change". When it worked, you still got a 500 yen coin, which you would have to buy another drink to break that up further. However, it only worked once, then all the machines failed. Ended up going 2 blocks down to a convenience store for change.

Very new and clean in a convenient location with all the facilities we need.

There is not a lot of room to move in the room so it wouldn’t be good for a longer stay.

Simple check in and out. The rooms are new and beautiful and the view from the upper floors is great.

During the festival dates, prices double, which makes it a very expensive visit.

Fantastic new hotel with large apartment style rooms with roomy bathroom and lovely balcony. Very comfortable! Also very good location walking distance from pretty much everything.

I found it a bit strange that we had to wait till exactly 15:00 for Check-in. I think it is good customer service to offer an early Check-in when possible. And I do believe it was possible. Also we parked on the hotel premises which would have been nice if it was complimentary.

Location is great and the most fantastic solution of beds for family of five . Very good functional design. Very big room with a lot of space.

Variety in breakfast can be a bit bigger ( in principle pancake and pancake unless you don’t mind curry for breakfast, but we are not used to it ) We were short time so we did not mind. Beautifully served .
