The couple who hosted us were fantastic, despite a bit of a rocky start due to them having electrical issues, they went out of their way to have the place ready for us and have almost everything working. They even ran out and bought a new electric blanket and heater for us. We were the very first guests and they made us feel so welcome, we were invited into their home while they finished up with the unit, a nice big fire was built for us, and the next morning we woke up to fresh milk and fruit outside on the table. The unit itself was well decorated, spacious enough for two and the bed is comfortable. Quiet and peaceful and private. Friendly dog on the property that made us feel very welcome. Thank you to this entire family for having us as your first guests, we can't wait to come back.

There was no hot water due to the electrical issue but we were warned of this and made the decision to stay there anyway so it wasn't a problem.
