Loved the location. Close to shops for groceries, but removed enough that it was quite. Check in was easy. Beds were super comfortable, and absolutely loved the round table in a room full of windows!

Great location and overall great layout for family. Clean and well equipped. Only complaint was whirlpool tub did not heat or work. Otherwise bery comfortable. We had a very nice visit. Thank you

We booked a weekend stay at Captains Hideaway! This was our first time staying on LKN but it definitely won’t be our last!! We will be returning customers. We enjoyed family time with our 2 dogs. The neighbors were friendly also. We rented a boat from Lake Norman Stay and Play. We recommend their marina especially if you have pets along for the trip! Excellent customer service from ITrip. Elizabeth was nice to work with and communicates very well! We stayed at the most beautiful pet friendly lake house! Our two dogs had the time of their life on the lake and at Captains Hideway. We have decided to make this a family tradition to close out summer and celebrate birthdays. The home was VERY clean, every interior detail was perfect, the private boating dock was a cherry on top. We loved the backyard deck as well! The house had a lot of water sports to offer and everything we needed to make it an awesome weekend stay! Location couldn’t have been better! Next time, we will try to book a longer stay so we can enjoy more!! 5 STARS!!

House is gorgeous. Some of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Beds were so comfortable but missing some pillows. The dock is beautiful and we had fun on the paddle boat and big floating mat. Would definitely rent again. Thank you!

The property was exactly as described. The whole family enjoyed the trip. The beds are extremely comfortable. My son caught his first large bass and didn’t want to leave. My mother love the decks. Wish we could have stay a week. I would recommend the yard to be fenced in for the dogs, but we made it work. Hope to return.

We booked this property very last minute after our original plans fell through, and we honestly couldn't have found a better property at such short notice! Very clean, stocked with everything we needed, outside area was beautiful (especially the dock area). We will 100% stay here again! We did have a small issue with the trash and recycling being completely overfilled, but iTrip sent someone out to create more room and were very pleasant to communicate with.
