This hotel was quiet and sits on a lake! We watched the northern lights from our bed and watched a moose swim to shore as we awoke. It was the most dreamy stay we’ve had in a while. Nothing fancy but clean comfortable and quaint. With lakefront seating and a fire pit.

Wonderful Lodge, we had a room with nice Lakeview. Friendly and helpful staff. For breakfast all you need is provided in the fridge. So lots of privacy.

Rooms were clean and the property is beautiful. Hosts had kayaks and canoes and fishing poles available for use and paddling around the lake was a highlight of our trip and the fishing was excellent. A Cow and calf moose came to the lake in the evening which was fun to see. The Continental breakfast left for us in the room was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Very unique property - the best feature for sure is the serene lake that the Inn sits over. We saw moose walking around right in front of us in the early morning hours drinking from the lake. The lake is picturesque and we were able to see northern lights over the lake as well which made our trip to the Inn an epic experience. The rooms are clean however the scent of the cleaning products is intense. The furniture/style is old and the exterior of the building is not in the best shape and the entrance to the hotel leaves you questioning if you're in the right spot. The walls are very thin so you can hear conversations of neighboring guests. But the staff are kind, it's got the charm of a family run Inn and they have food/snacks and drinks ready for you in your room which was a nice perk and very thoughtful addition, but the Folgers coffee left a lot to be desired. If you are looking to get out of Healy and more into a secluded area for the views of the lake and wildlife, it's a great spot. The Inn itself leaves a bit to be desired yet has so much potential to be amazing with a little make over.

Our room was spacious, clean, welcoming, and had a beautiful lake view! Our surprise was that the room contained a kitchenette that included everything we needed for our morning breakfast. Perfect for an early morning start! After traveling around Alaska and sleeping on several uncomfortable beds, this room had firm mattresses that felt like I was at home. I also liked that this was a family run business. The owners were there on the property and were very friendly, caring people. Another plus was that the Inn is conveniently located near Denali National Park.
The only thing we didn’t like was that the gravel road leading into the place was full of large pot holes and the preceding ATV business overshadowed the beautiful Inn.

It was beautiful, remote, and very tranquil for our 4 night stay. We recommend a Lakeview room because the view is breathtaking and we even saw a moose and her baby eating and then crossing the lake.

cons: a bit pricey, a wee drive from the park, isolated. pros: charming, comfortable, clean, friendly, gorgeous lake view (w/ moose at one point).
breakfast included was nice but nothing wow. walkable golf course restaurant was just ok. liked 49th st brewing better.

The property is in an absolutely beautiful setting. In the morning, we watched squirrels, rabbits, and eagles around the lake from the balcony. We were there off-season, so we couldn't find a restaurant open. Luckily, the "breakfast" the hosts left for us in the room was so generous, we were able to eat it for dinner and still have enough left over for breakfast the next day!!

The inn was very quaint and quiet and peaceful. The approach to the inn was interesting and could use a larger sign. The room was nice, and the breakfast food and snacks provided were excellent. The view of the lake and mountains was great, and the wildlife and birds were fun to watch. It is better to go after the season opens due to the limited places to dine out of season. Overall a pleasant stay.

This is a beautiful place just a few miles from the north entrance to the park. The views across the lake and of the surrounding mountains are stunning. A very generous breakfast was left for us in the room refrigerator. There was also a coffee maker, toaster and microwave. They are open in the winter, perfect for an overnight trip to Denali from Fairbanks. The room was beautiful with comfy beds.

What a mt-Lakeview from bed and aurora lites from dock n balcony. Yummy Brownies by staff. Large room; recliner; lotsa pillows ; cozy warm. Comfortable bed. Mini kitchen- countertop to eat in/Tasty thai food truck. Staff kitchen available for pizza-oven-grocery store. Only 2 eateries available in Healy. It’s winter!!!

We stayed in the Inn during the off season so not much else was open around the area but it is a good driving distance to many shops and restaurants that would be open in the summer. The complimentary breakfast was great! They had it all set up in our room so no need to rush somewhere else to eat. Amazing views with the lake and the mountains.

Romantic, quiet, secluded and off the beaten path this location is sure to please any couple especially the mountain and lake views! The complimentary breakfast is delicious and filling. The staff are very personal and warming. I will be back!!
