When we arrived at the villa we were baffled about the room and space it had. And we were even more baffled when we got upstairs, to the pool area. The unobstructed seaview from the top balcony is just amazing. The barbecue is clean and easy to use, provided with the right tools. The service is great. You can call at any moment with your problem and the owners solve it as quick as possible. The area is nice. There are a couple of bays in the area where you can get a nice cocktail or a good diner. And if you want to go visit the rest of the island, you just take the bus and you'll be there in less then an hour.

Standard of apartment - Excellent. Really large enough for 7 adults. Everything spotless and cared for.High praise for Ludwig who is a lovely guy and sorted out all our issues quickly and efficiently. The fact he lives in the block is a real plus. He sorted out a car from a local company for us.The infinity pool was great. We went mid May and it was a perfect temperature - got quite hot - 30 degrees by the end of the week.You have a lovely balcony and a sun deck with the pool and bbq upstairs.Marsascala is an interesting place - it is more normal than a touristy resort - there are few hotels but this block is the best in the town. We had never been to Malta before but we really liked it. It is a short walk to Saint Thomas Bay which is attractive and has a couple of nice cafes/restaurants. Walk the other way into town - about 30 minutes - nice walk along the promenade with a wide range of restaurants but few shops. There is a very good bus service to Valetta - every 20 minutes. the bus we went on was very busy and hot but cheap! If you want to go further afield you will need to hire a car. My only area for improvement is the kitchen utensils - which I did mention to Ludvig - there was no tin opener or wooden spoons, serving spoons, measuring jug etc and being British a teapot would have been nice.This villa is perfect for a large family gathering like ours or a group of friends.Would we return to Malta - YESWould we return to this villa - YES YES YES
